this manwha is funny as a stand alone but it’s doing the novel such an injustice :( the ognovel is r19 and has a lot of world building and character development to where we see why the duke and kids are the way they are and why their powers (divine/dark magic) make them crazy. It really makes you feel for the “villain” family and why they’re so obsessed with feeling relief for even a moment. Plus the development between fl/ml is super cute but also the r19 parts were….hot is all I’ll say lol. Anyways, this isn’t a rant. I think the manwha itself is funny and lighthearted, but if you get a chance I suggest reading the novel too!!

this is kind of a slap-stick comedy (?) anyway, a lot of the “drama” is based on these silly misunderstandings. There’s not really anything deep about the storyline. It’s one you can read without much thought. The ml is a cute, regretful tsun. Much of the novel is based on this type of comedy dynamic, so if it’s not your type in the first couple of chapters maybe it’s not for you! BUT all the characters are actually really funny and lovable so I hope you don’t drop
so trueee love this kind of trope where there are misunderstandings in a funny way. kinda reminds me of cale fainting and coughing up blood lol
I like this style more, just silly misunderstanding and def wouldn't emotionally drain me. Altho I'm sure more serious drama will come once the main drama (prob the contract with the dragon) being solved.
