at first o really hated hyesung bc i thought he was bratty

keep in mind he’s new to this whole courting thing. The previous relation he had with the FL was just paper no emotions. I’m assuming he fell in love with the FL after they got married the first time but never knew about it personally as he’s pretty dense. He wanted to protect her which was why he told her to quit the job. Pretty sure he feared that the FL will be taken advantage of.
i know he grew to love her when they were married (after a while) but that doesn’t excuse his actions right now
he’s just being invasive imo like he’s just too controlling at this point
ik she will end up liking him (well she kinda already does) bc he’s endgame but i want him to reflect a little lol

- so the brothers are first to basically beg for her attention
- the blonde one already tried and he was ignored (forgot what chapter but this already happened in the manhwa)
- the other brother is next and he appeals to see her but keeps getting rejected or waitlisted so he just walks in during her lesson with the prince and the brother sees her skills with swords
he realizes that she is the best in the world and WAY better than him (keep in mind he is often praised for his sword fighting skills) and then comes to regrets how he and his brother/father treated her since she’s a genius or even beyond a genius
- he leaves the palace and his other brother is waiting outside to ask how it went but when he gets outside he just falls on his knees and asks what they’ve done
they both realize that they treated her like trash and it’s too late now
- later on they talk with their father and even he regrets
then the brothers try to appeal to her again at her birthday party and give her this super rare and expensive flower
but she’s actually deadly allegeric and has to fight off her illness for days and the brothers feel worse bc they almost killed her
- when they get home and discuss what happened with their farther and family doctor, the doctor tells them that she’s always been allergic even as a kid but the father didn’t want to tell anyone and everyone forgot about it
so basically they almost killed her bc of neglect and forgot ab her deadly allergy
- not much else happens with the ml and fl but she tries to find him a fiancé and suggests candidates which losses of the ml bc he obviously likes her
- he finds a way for all the candidates to fall in love with others or go somewhere far (but not in a bad way)
and then they overthrow the king and the ronan family sides with her during it and see her lead
they once again realize her strength and know that she doesn’t need them
- once the ml is successful and king, they talk together and she asks if he loves anyone and he says yes, obviously implying her and asks her the same question and she says no but hesitates bc at that moment she thought of her ex fiancé (the blonde guy we’ve seen before that she has a soft spot for) and the ml noticed this and believes that she loves someone besides her but doesn’t push to ask more
he still pursues her and isn’t exactly heartbroken or anything
- also while staging the coup, the ml found information about the king trying to make a sword out of a person and saw the fl name on the lists, he finds the method of how to do it which is to read the person a type of jewel and does that to the king
- he presents the king to her and tells her that she can now make him a sword (but doesn’t know that this happened to her in another timeline) and she becomes a bit afraid of the ml since she suffered like this
she realizes she needs to leave soon but at the point im at in the novel, she hasn’t yet (the novel isn’t fully translated)

Dylan feeds the ex-emporer the ehrit shard amd makes it i believe impossible for him to die so she can torture him all she wantsand also because dylan realizes that once the emporer is dead charlize wouldnt stay with dylan anymore that she could leave him so in a selfish way he tries to bind her to himself but this whole thing makes it worse for charlize because of her trauma, she realizes that she cant control dylan anymore
Well, she did want to take revenge on the ex-king and the empire. After all the ex-k did, he deserves to endure what he did to others, the fl wasn’t his first try to be made a sword. I just hope she doesn’t do something foolish because of her trauma, she did become the ml trainer to destroy everything and made him like that. I hope the ml doesn’t become crazy, he just wants to be loved. I want the couple to be happy together, even if they destroy the empire.
And I am looking forward the father and bothers of the fl. Just hope we will see more of why/how they became to regret because for now, it looks too sudden.
