On this site, we are talking about fictional characters in a make believe story which contains toxicity involving adults, not children. The author intended the story to be read by adults who have the maturity to handle the subject matter. Anyone who doesn't like it for whatever reason are free to drop it and move on whenever they wish.

I didn't say no one is justifying rape. I said, "Don't assume that readers are 'justifying rape' or enjoying it just because they happen to like the story and/or author." You are making assumptions that all readers like the rape, which is not the case. I think most readers hate how Jaekyung has treated Dan at times and are not trying to make excuses for those toxic behaviours. Some readers may like the toxicity, which is their business. It's not up to you or anyone else to judge and police another person's preferences in fiction.
You said that you dropped Jinx and you don't even know Jaekyung's name. I'm sorry if I can't take your comments seriously then, as you haven't fully read the story to understand the nuances and deeper meaning. My advice is to fully read it 2-3 times. However, you do seem triggered by it, so maybe it's best to leave it and not comment on a story you barely have any knowledge of :)

1) if you continue reading this and comment about how you so want them to get together when their entire "love" story is built around financial manipulation and sexual abuse, you are, to some extent, justifying rape.
2) calling jaekyung's behavior *just* toxic does have real world impacts. some people don't know and have never seen what sexual assault looks like, and it looks like the relationship depicted in this webtoon. when we don't call things their proper name, it makes a difference.
3) if someone likes the character and their reason is how he treats dan, i'll say they're shit people because even if it's their right to think what they think, it is mine to say what i think about that.
4) not having read the entire story doesn't change the fact that *at least* in chapters 2-4 jaekyung RAPES dan. it's very clearly depicted and most of the other sexual scenes between the two are quite similar. you can't expect people to force themselves to read an entire webtoon only to surely come to their same original conclusion, just to have YOUR approval to feel that way.

But from what I read, one of them hasn't even started reading Jinx and I know the other one dropped it and doesn't know the ml's name lol. Therefore, I can't take anything they say about it seriously. Don't waste your time reading their BS about "liking rape" if you happen to like the story. In my case, as a reader who has fully read every chapter, I'm looking forward to Season 2 which starts in 16 days!!
