I think it's more of a fear of making a connection due to unresolved trauma relating the death of his mother.
He's clumsy at love, that's it. It's pretty clear he feels things for him, just that since he's never been in love he has a hard time labeling them as, well, love.
Or maybe he's just a person with complicated feelings and trauma that needs to be worked out in order for him to be comfortable in a serious relationship.

idk why people act like it's normal to ignore your lover's plead to stop or tricking them into sex despite them repeatedly stating they don't want it. i think the story would be much nicer without that. also how can anyone condone what happened to the red haired guy? like yes, he is a horrible person but so is the dude who kidnapped him and raped him, even more so. i didn't how after season 3 it was almost all sex, like the charming thing about this story is how much the love story was built on their emotional connection. don't get me wrong, i love to see a loving couple have loving sex but it felt like it was all they did together at some point and love goes way further than that.
I totally agree with you. It was nice seeing them go through young adulthood together, but the story kind of takes a hit after the age rating goes up.

side stories 6 and 7 depict dooshik violently penetrating jooha despite his pleads to stop, saying he was hurting and even crying. at one point jooha falls asleep and only then does dooshik worry. he checks for a heartbeat and after realizing jooha is alive he continues raping him (him now being unconscious).
