That office is toxic from the very beginning. The early guy who put his booger into the drink, yea that asshole should lose his nose and hand.
Not trying to criticize any culture here, but, if someone refuses a drink, why force them? Heck, even pulling that disgusting shit. I can't understand why the drinking culture doesn't allow any leeway for the non-drinkers and instead harasses them. Very toxic and unhealthy environment.
I don't know. I grew up in a non drinking society, so I wouldn't know why they humiliated people who couldn't drink.
Japanese work culture mostly like this. Its considered rude to not drink when offered to. But i think right now in Japan not like this anymore?
