this was so all over the place i don’t even know where to begin
- none of the characters’ relationships were developed well (how did siran even fall in love with him it’s like we went from the blackmailing incident to him suddenly being in love in like 3 chapters)
- the things characters did seemed just for plot convenience (they said siran being seemed mentally unstable but then literally nothing came of that comment later on)
- shit that seemed interesting got introduced one chapter only to be over by the next chapter without ever amounting to anything (like, that other wolf and ho’s bestie scheming shit but then it was so lame what happened the next chapter like... what was all that buildup for then?)
- a lot of things were left unresolved (what’s the deal with the brother... he just ups and disappears? what’s happened to the mother then?)
also, they keep talking about wolves and foxes etc etc but that wasn’t ever really explored in the story so what... everything was so dramatic so you’d expect to actually have some good drama going on but what the hell was that the side story was pretty good though and for some reason it was still ok to read. would love a continuation of the friend’s story T__T i really liked youngsan uhu
what the fuck is this supposed to be? a guidebook on how to recognize a manipulative, psychopathic partner? i’ve never rated anything below 3 stars in this site because i’ve gotten so used to rape and manipulation in bl mangas but wow this one by far takes the crown. and playing it off by going the psychological route but also making it all cutesy like what the fuck. this could’ve been such a good story, the premise was so good but what the actual fuck i’m so ???
i actually stopped reading properly halfway and only finished to see if it would have any redeeming factors so idek but holy shit all the patterns of abuse (making use of his isolation and blackmailing him to become dependent on him, sexual abuse, passing off everything to him being jealous, gaslighting) are here and are passed off as trivial because they end up together and the other characters find and the manga itself presents it as funny/cute. this was so nauseating to read UGH wasted my time i was expecting too much

while reading i couldnt really understand why he would go into abusive relationships just because he rejected his friend as a high schooler, even 10 years later, but seeing the comments about how he made that as an excuse to aid in his denial that he was raped (instead turning it into “i deserve being raped/violently hurt because i once rejected my friend”) finally helped it make sense to me. i hope that fucker who raped him rots in hell i feel so bad AAAA i’m glad maki is there to be a supportive and gentle bf :((( the second story was adorable but i must ask... what do they do for a living ndnslansls
