So, I reread this again. I used to really like this (I felt uncomfortable, but I still liked it), but now I can't help but think that this is really dangerous (haha). It just feels like there's some preaching going on questioning why can't something like this be "normal," when in fact, although there may be children who might fully comprehend what they're doing, it's just right to assume that they don't, because it's more pragmatic and less dangerous that way. I felt so much more uncomfortable on my second read. :(((

can someone tell me what's up with his friend?

No, Yuri has been almost entirely absent in season 1.5. The geography teacher is lightly flirting with him.
Okay, here's my prediction. The author is keeping Yuri quiet because S2 is going to be his story, that's why there's a S1.5. Yuri is probably going to give up on his love, and instead something will happen with the geography teacher. However, the teacher-student relationship will be too difficult and Yuri will probably end up with someone else.
can someone tell me what they mean abt the words thing
From my interpretation, their names carry power. So in order to address someone by their name, you must be in equal or above in status compared to them. That’s why they were so shook at the end when Makoto addressed Fjord because he was a human and has only been in hell a few days. Although J told Makoto his name in the Earth world, Makoto can’t say J’s name in hell without his soul being torn apart since J is in such a high standing of power.
Yeah I get tht, but I don't understand what they mean by "words have power" etc and that whole explanation given by D-sama and Mako-chan at the end
Wait J told his name!? I tried rereading ch. 1 but can't find it! Can you just tell me what's his complete name?
i think xoxokire is talking about how J said "you should be grateful for having known my name at such a young age" something like that
Aaaaaa thinking about it, you can't summon a demon without knowing their name, right? It's just the manga didn't disclose his name.
Maybe when Mako-chan will become powerful like J the author will let us know his name too ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I think they mean that with the right words and sentences, you can manipulate and break others' spirits. I believe that he says the higher ranking demons are smarter, wittier, and know how to use words to alter people's thoughts and can do it like a piece of cake, something that fools and lower ranking demons cant do
ayeee thank u!!!!! i got kinda confused with that part ahaha
even J scares me w/ his mood shifts salkjdas
Omfg, ikr, its absolutely terrifying. The MC is pretty daring, but messed up, but still cool and adorable lmao
