I think they mean that with the right words and sentences, you can manipulate and break others' spirits. I believe that he says the higher ranking demons are smarter, wittier, and know how to use words to alter people's thoughts and can do it like a piece of cake, something that fools and lower ranking demons cant do

Okay, here's my prediction. The author is keeping Yuri quiet because S2 is going to be his story, that's why there's a S1.5. Yuri is probably going to give up on his love, and instead something will happen with the geography teacher. However, the teacher-student relationship will be too difficult and Yuri will probably end up with someone else.
