This is cute and all but it feels a little too flat for me...
Not that I'm dropping reading this, since i read till chapter 77 just to see if it'll get a bit more of a kick...
But i feel like compared to the other stories out there, while it's cute and all, it feels boring, reads like teen angst and feels stupid at times ( ̄へ ̄)
Like... Karlyle's eternal internal monologue not only reads something like the fanfics i read as a teen but it also never endsssssss(/TДT)/
And their conflict before becoming couple... IDK man. I get that the conflict was their feelings weren't at each other's level but the way everything was set up from the beginning, I honestly feels like it didn't sit well with me. It felt like a last minute idea or a poorly built up conflict. Like... With the way Ash has been acting before the confession, I was more surprised and confused how HE'S the one whose feelings needed catching up to do... AND HE DOESN'T SEEM ANY DIFFERENT AFTER GETTING TO TOGETHER FOR REAL NOW
IDK. Plus the sex scenes too. Like the flirting and kissing = Hot but then the sex feels like meh. I think it's the angles the artist chose. It didn't feel like their bodies were connected. All i keep seeing was zoom ins of their faces and weird angles. Not so much of a connection down there.
Overall...
Would i read it again? No.
Would i finish reading it? Yeah sure but wouldn't really be running to read it.
Would i read the scanlation of Kyle and Nick's story if i saw it? Maybe. And I'd def recommend reading it first than this because this def screams sequel even tho there's nothing before it.

I understand your perspective, and it's true that relationships can develop unexpectedly, just as they did in the story. Ash and Karlyle faced various challenges, including their alpha status and social responsibilities, which they had to navigate together.
The author does leave some room for readers to interpret how the couple overcomes these obstacles, allowing us to fill in the details. It's possible that upon re-reading, you might discover more depth and nuance in the story that you initially missed.
So, I would suggest giving the story another chance and approaching it with an open mind. You might find hidden layers and appreciate the characters' journey even more. Happy reading! ヾ(☆▽☆)

Even tho i love this story i can kinda feel your perspective though, this story actually has quite plot holes, some characters are not fully developed (Ash is a great example of this as he’s a ML but we don’t have enough of his POV to clearly see his character development, even in the novel if you don’t read thoroughly you might think he wasn’t having any character development at all), some problems are handled kinda poorly and more. Do i love their romance journey or the characters themselves? Yes. But do i love everything that the author put in this story or the way she develop and build up things? No, not entirely. She would have handled things better and give her characters mote spaces. Still it’s a nice read to me and the couple is the main reason i choose to stay up till now

Oh! It came from a novel!
And it kinda sucks there's no POV for Ash even there. Would like to get know him more as a character too.
The characters are pretty ok! No-brainer, I love a guy in BL who's physically very expressive with his partner. And i love that Lyle and Kyle have been nothing but loving and supportive of each other. But the story feels meh. IDK. Let me know. Maybe the novel makes it more exciting? Maybe it's just the manhwa that makes it seems a bit flat? Sometimes it happens.

The manhwa actually cut out kinda a lot of scenes from the novel, especially in season 1 they even cut the whole of Ash’s POV, some details are also been cut off through out the remaining seasons. I think she did better adaptation in season 3 tho (even tho the scene when Lyle talked to his mom at the engagement party was kinda rush), it’s a bit slow, but I would rather it like that than the “fast and furious” in season 1 where volume 1 is the longest volume in the novel.
And yes if you have time please consider taking a look at the novel because it has more details and depth in there (still it hasn’t satisfied my hunger ), we also have plenty of Ash’s POV in there too (I need more of his POV). If you want to read the novel you can contact “the.road.to.enternity” on instagram they’ll give you the link

Almost every week, I keep reading this webtoon despite all this pain(/TДT)/ but thank goodness Taejoo is sorta facing things now. IDK. I wanted to like Youngwoo, with his feeling of insecurities and all... But, like, bruh. Taejoo hasn't been alright, even when he was with you. Get your heart healed someday, Taejoo( ̄へ ̄ ). Saranghe-yourself for now.

I love sensei's works, don't get me wrong. But, I don't know... I just feel unsatisfied so far with this one...
I can't feel that special development in Haru and Haruki's relationship. Or like, all that feeling thar Haruki gets special treatment dropped after ch. 2. All of Haru's clients have been pretty cute and sexy (good enough to be MC of their own stories), making Hiroki look a bit dull. And, Haru doesn't really act or show to be thinking differently about Hiroki compared to the others (⊙…⊙ )...
I only understand what I can see, sis. There's not enough fine print for me to start seeing this as a blossoming romance. It only seems to me like Hiroki's the only one in love.
Or maybe I should just wait for the updates ╥﹏╥

YEAH! YOU GO GIRL! HAIL THE BRIDE! HAIL MAKO!
And i was so amazed by the last arc. I think Mako's mom, being the ultimate god of her religion, was really like a god in the end, with all the ongoing nosebleeds despite Mako feeling like she's found her match, and the blood-soaked hallucinations that continued despite the nosebleed hiatus.
(a lil sad tho that the apathetic guy wasn't a good match for her :(. I rooted for him, for even just a second.)
I read this manga because of Joey (the anime man). I never expected to be very invested in it despite the major clues he gave in the review!

I think the seme needs to shut up for a moment and imagine being told by his boyfriend the same words "wasn't it just a kiss?" Didn't he make a big hoopla about being jealous? Now he's being a real insensitive jerk.
And here we go again with the uke being assaulted by his so called "friend", and i can just see it from a mile away that the uke will think he's cheating on the seme, WHEN HE DID NOTHING WRONG BECAUSE HE WAS FOCKEN ASSAULTED AND RAPED BY HIS "FRIEND". Who needs enemies when you have friends like that????
Honestly, why am i still reading this. It's toxic af. Get yourselves standards too guys. Pretty art can't cover up toxic behaviours being promoted in the story.

Dude exactly!!! And then chatting it up at work like he didn’t just get sexually assaulted by him a few chapters ago. If the sexual assault scene actually contributed to the story and was reprimanded as wrong I wouldn’t mind it but the fact that the author just slips by it like nothing happened is not good writing

Yess!!!! I know we just wanted a light hearted story about a dude with a mouth kink and a flirty dentist...but this author is really just pushing my buttons with making light of things that make this so uncomfy to read.
I know it's been a trope in BL over the years that "romantic acts" are often done dubcon/noncon... And that tiptoe is often what makes it so hard to find nice BL to read in the past...
But, this one is just horrible. It's obv sexual assault. AND THEN IT'S ALL FINE AND DANDY WHEN THE UKE NEEDS SOMEONE TO TALK LOVE GOSSIP TO? Like, author, we're not THAT dumb! That's horriblew writing! Couldn't he have just consulted some online forum, like some cliche BL charas do?

Omg yes exactly, I was looking forward to a simple smutty story with a lot of fluff but instead I got sexual assault like huh??? And to top it off the author has a spin off story with blondie the rapist. I hate the BL trope of “non con” sex scenes it’s over done and not fun to read. I think the only person who does it well and comically is prolly harada, but I have to get myself ready before I read any of her works
Honestly, this has been screaming red flag to me even up till now but I'm just here waiting for that Happy Ending the author promised...
I know the author will be gaslighting us into "See guys! He changed. He has feelings now and is "super nice" to Yeon Oh now" all while seeing he really didn't change. Just wanted to see how they'll ramp this up.
HEAR, HEAR!!
