honestly claude was an arrogant evil man at the start but his redemption arc really got to me. in my first read i hated him and couldn’t forgive him, but on my 3rd reread i think he’s quite likeable after the redemption arc. like he’ll give athy anything she desires. he’s kind of a big softie after the redemption

honestly it’s great to see someone try their best change. yeah she was your typical shitty villainess but she got snapped into reality and is making an earnest effort into becoming a better person. it’s also great storytelling how she doesn’t change magically overnight, her progression has ups and downs, like a real person trying to break a habit.
