was the novel worse at portraying the empress and her character? i appreciate how nuanced and complicated her character is, showing that change is not easy, but why did she jump right into being an empress? they’re not nobles anymore technically? she could’ve sobered up and start to work so lily wouldn’t have to. is it because she sided with the aristocrats in her past life so her solution is to side with the empire instead? does this get clearer in the novel or?
so far the webtoon has been pretty accurate with the novel but didn’t they introduce Frey around Emma’s trial? I guess introducing a new character with such a large development going on with the plot rn would be hectic but Frey’s character helps us discover more about Aria’s ancestry and why she has powers. Maybe she’ll be introduced later in the chapters? or she’ll be [spoilers] introduced as the judge on Mielle’s trial. idk my memory may be fuzzy

does he get married to 3 or 4 of the women?? does he marry them cause he likes them all or because he’s equally indifferent to all of them

Yea it's a harem where he marries all his love interests(it's what someone said, they also said that harem is not bad like other harems)
