The worse one out of this IS the girls' mother. I mean the father is a shit. But his decision to push on the girls to their brother was in their interest. Since, the dad had NO means to provide any stability for the girls. The mother of the girls knew this and she still abandoned the girls and used her new lover as a scapegoat.

Haha so as you said these type of manga are pretty rare, so much so that when I looked through all the manga I read on this site (but I missed out a ton cus I use a few other sites as well) I couldn't find anything with the same sort of vibe. They either had romance as a main theme, little to no plot or were dark psychologicals or something.
I put a few down that felt somewhat similar. The last four (imo) are the closest, had a good amount of plot and progression with little romance and lots of fluff! If you want a summary on any of them just give a shout!
