part of his personality was probably trauma of war but also someones view can change of you really quickly. a big difference was made when she decided to look for him on their first night instead of staying in the room. butterfly effect mhmm story with potential if things can build with tension but without frustration to most readers
ik hes like hiding his more negative side but he doesnt seem evil. im sure he'd hate to send his daughter away and i dont totally blame him for that. all the other nobles and royalty treat him so bad with just words and he has to sit there and take it all in because he doesnt have the power or courage ;-; justice for the very few good characters in this story ;-;
