If you are curious about the korean version ...
This just a little notes (I edited with some suggestions from the comments)
After Haesoo said "Say something. You called me." At that moment Joowon called "Lee Haesoo".
It has so much meaning bcs earlier someone miscalled his name with Lee Hyunsoo and he said in monologue it's okay I know my own name but then joowon calls him by his full name + he must be a bit surprised to be called so formally by his hyung. That's why Haesoo's expression's like that.
Then Haesoo called him "Hyung" (informal)
Joowon started to call Haesoo "Haesoo-ya" (informal, -ya after names add meaning endearment).
And what Joowon said to Haesoo:
나는, 해수야. (basically means Haesoo-ya, I ....)
영원히 네 편이야. (영원히 means forever, eternally : it means more like "I'll be on your side forever")
After that it's the same, I think.
네 형이고, 네 친구고… (I'm your Hyung, I'm your friend ...)
그냥. 네 거야. (Just. I'm all yours.)
(And this personally makes me break down:
Haesoo saying
미안해 (Mianhae): sorry, I'm sorry.
Idk, saying mianhae, instead I'm sorry, makes me cry more :((( )

Ok now I can cry again. Whatever will happen just happened. Sigh
Also that moment when joowon hesitated and called him Lee Haesoo it was so much meaning bcs earlier someone miscalled his name with Lee Hyunsoo and he said in monologue its okay I know my own name but then joowon calls him by his full name. I think thats why he make that face.
Also the fact that he knew it was joowon just from the ringtone...

Same, I cried when I read korean version, especially when Haesoo said "Mianhae" three times but I can't cry with the official translation ugghhh :(((
Yessss even if he said "I know my name" he must feel a lot sad. And hearing familiar voice calling his name must be hitting him hard + he must never imagine Joowon, his very own dear hyung, will ever call him that formally, I cryyy ╥﹏╥

um i’m sorry i don’t mean to be rude but are you really korean? because 형이고 means “i am your hyung” not “i am your hyungie” and in this contest -ie is used for grammar not endearment... also Mianhae literally means “i’m sorry” it’s not anything special so i’m not sure why ur saying “instead”.... and 영원히 네 편이야 literally means “i’m forever on your side” meaning that he will support haesoo, even if he’s not physically there, so there’s no “stay” involved at all

No, but I'm fluent in korean.
I know it's for grammatical, but sometimes ppl use -ie too for endearment like in Hamin-ie (but more like in very implicitly). I'll edit my post if you disagree abt that one.
Yes, what I mean by "stay" isn't physically but to always support him (thanks for the edit btw, I can't put it in english quite well actually). what I emphasize it's in "forever", it suits Joowon more since he's a romantic.

For me, what truly broke me is the sentence “im just all yours” in korean (“Geunnyang.. Ne geoya”) . I know the meaning is literally the same but somehow if you sound it in english it feels like he just trying to flirt or something lmaoo but if you sound it in korean it feels like he really helpless and like his whole soul belongs to haesoo and its really make me sad

I'm sorry if my korean isn't as fleunt as yours since you're "korean", but you don't have to be that rude, you don't even know me personally ok? You can just correct me I'm open to suggestion :(
I knowww it's literally meaning the same, I just said it hits differently when someone says "I'm sorry" and "mianhae". "Mianhae" sounds sadder to me.

first of all i’m not trying to be rude i’m sorry if i can off that way (just tryna joke around but if it offended you i’m sorry) HOWEVER ummm if ur fluent in korean you really wouldn’t be making these mistakes so if i were u i really wouldn’t be calling yourself that... also it’s a really big pet peeve of mine when people say that “hyung-ie” is an endearment bc it’s really not??? -ie is only an endearment when it’s attached to a name when it’s with hyung is only for grammar....

People have different sensitivity *shrug*.... And let's not pretend that that person was nice and helpful. Because they were anything but that. They were sarcastic and passive aggressive from the very start.
Oh wow now we are playing psychologists? After this short conversation you are making some assumptions.

If you want to take what I said as me playing a psychologist do what you want. & you're right I am making assumptions because I don't know you or them. So anything I say or you say about another person will just be assumptions from how we see the situation at the end of the day. We are all behind a keyboard. There's no tone to words. Now I'm done replying. If you wanna talk to yourself go right ahead.

Wow, I wish I could tag multiple people on mangago but it can't hhhhhhh. I dunno that people will really be worked up on this. But stop it guys. I don't wanna proof anything, just wanna help people who don't know korea a little. And it's no big deal, like no reason to continue this discussion. Looololol's words didn't even offend me like at all, cause I didn't. Like sorry I made some mistake cuz I mixed my feeling on this. Compared to them or anyone, my korean's probably 'nothing'. Yeah, but it doesn't mean that only you who understand korean ajjwjqmw jwjwjw. Just tried to say that it's common impoliteness to say random ppl you barely know 'google translate'. It's fine with me, but other ppl might be offended next time you say it. Just learn to be more polite and considerate please, it's important for you.
Btw has this story ended? Can someone spoil for me?
not good ending
In short, Han gets rid of Taesun who's taking it very hard. He decides to take revenge and set up his own business and then pressure Han with videos of him for blackmail. In the end, Han ends up being totally controlled by Taesun and loses a big part of his business and even his right-hand man Taejun.
Taesun? Do you mean Sangwoo? Ohhh poor Han ╥﹏╥ how about the ending? Is it open ending or how?
Frick ┗( T﹏T )┛
yes Sangwoo
and yes u can say its an open-ending bc it ends with Han being completely controlled and at the feet of Sangwoo and Taejun who catches them having sex because of a trap set by Sangwoon and leaves disappointed thinking Han will never change
so there's not really an end to it, just the fact that the roles are reversed
Thank you!! Just here to read the smut and enjoy their handsome faces/hot bods anyway (▰˘◡˘▰)
haha yes same here
