Honestly i was wondering that too but basically in this manga the brothers are older while the sisters are younger and in the original manga the sister are older and brother are younger. the personality of Mako and mao is just so very different from them in the original manga. And I think mako was a lesbian? So she didn’t have feelings for Chika in the original manga. But mao like Chiko in both manga.
