"STOP FUCKING AND JUST TALK TO EACH OTHER!!!" I love sex and hot sex scenes, which this has in spades. But damn boys, y'all need to have at least one conversation to clear the air between you two. And the goofy looking friend Mari only makes things more complicated by calling everything with a dick, oppa. I mean, seriously, make some distictions for Christ's sake. Tack their name to oppa or something. This whole cluster-fuck could be cleared away with one 10 minute conversation! Bah! I'm really mad because I love sex scenes, but every one of them in this manga just makes the confusion continue. How's a girl supposed to fap to that?! LMAO
Seriously though, this is an interesting and fascinating webtoon for so many reasons. My favorite reason, however, is watching the artist mature and grow into their art. In the first few chapters, the characters are - sorry - butt fuck ugly. As the series progresses, you can see the confidence build in the artist through the appearance of the characters. They become so much more attractive and appealing. The lines are smooth and the angles become softer. The drawings stop looking like rough drafts and take on an air of natrual flow. This alone, is fascinating and truly beautiful to me. The storyline is pretty typical and cliché, but it is not told poorly. The character development is smooth and believable and as time progresses, the characters display, both in words and facial expression, more and more emotion. I'm impressed and I have enjoyed this story immensely.

But choosing to sleep with his brother is probably the most sane and healthy thing this kid has ever had happen in his life. His mother physically, emotionally and possibly sexually abused him, his father was too busy screwing around to care that this was going on and his uncle beat him, drugged him and sexually abused him. So, having consensual sex with his brother and eventually finding peace in a relationship with him really doesn't sound so bad. Yeah, I know, "But they're brothers!" Who gives a shit? They can't have children that would be shamed, embarrassed, ridiculed or physically harmed by their union. So, who are they hurting? Well, other than narrow minded people who expect the world to fit into the tidy little boxes they have deemed "appropriate", that is. And who really cares what those kinds of people think anyway? Right?

Well, not exactly, no. I'm saying that he has had far worse things happen to him than being in a consensual, mutual, loving relationship with someone who will understand, accept and support him going forward. Even if that relationship is deemed "inappropriate", it is still healthier and happier than what he has experienced thus far. Just because other people don't approve of a relationship, that doesn't make the relationship unhealthy or unhappy. That is determined by the parties involved, no one else.

Right?! I get a kick out of getting pissed at antagonists. It helps me vent my frustrations that build up in real life. Most of the time, I'm laughing my ass off as I type! LOL I vent sadness by reading tragedy yaoi or a fluffy shounen ai. Yaoi is my all around escape from real life. Anything I could want, I can find in yaoi.

Exactly that, too. There are no psychological or biological barriers for their relationship. And this kid has already faced some of the most toxic relationships out there. Would being in a mutual, loving and supportive relationship really be that bad, even if it is incestuous? Being a homosexual relationship just means that the biological barrier has been removed... no offspring.

A shy, yet bold when it counts uke; a sweet, responsible, yet aggressively sexy and teasing seme and supportive side characters make this charming story of first love meets forbidden love a winner no matter how many times I read it. Age is only a number... when you're an adult, but how do you handle it when a ten year plus age gap is with a teenager? Very carefully. That's how our protagonists take their love. If I could change one thing about this manga it would be to add at least another volume. The extra gives us a look at their continued relationship three years later, but I'd give anything to see even more.

I gotta say, I am never disappointed to see the work that all of you do. Your scans are always clean, perfectly translated, clear and easy to read and understand. Not to mention, you do a great job at un-censoring! You make reading manga really enjoyable. Thank you guys, for all the time and effort you put into making readers like me happy. I'm a professional proofreader, so I notice typos and little mistakes by force of habit. But, do you know, I've only ever found one typo in all of your works and it was a long time ago? The care and dedication you put into your translations is really astounding. Have you ever considered marketing your team to a licensing company? The job you all do is easily equal to that of professionals. You guys definitely deserve the recongnition. Thanks again and keep up the great work.
P.S. The chats you add are as much fun and a pleasure to read as the manga themselves. I hope it is something that will continue.

Thanks for the love! We dont always check here for comments, but if you want to make sure we see what you write, comment on our site or send us an email. :)

Sadly, I don't know if it is the writing or the translation that leaves me feeling so ambivalent about this manga. The writing feels rushed, the dialogue and exposition are clipped and choppy, leaving only the artwork as its good point. Even then, the art is good in some places and looks rushed in others. Apparently, I've read this manga before, but I'll be damned if I can remember it. I guess that, in itself, says it all.

I just wish it was longer. I could read another ten or twenty chapters of this couple. Takanari is a typical sadistic man whore until he meets Tomo. He remains a sadist, but from the moment he gives his heart to Tomo, no one else matters to him. My favorite scene is in the first chapter where Takanari passes by Tomo and Tsuzuki eating lunch together and knocks once on the table. That one panel has so much meaning in it and if you're not looking, you could miss it. Takanari is greeting his lover and at the same time he is staking his claim to him in front of his rival. It's a hot scene that is understated for the perfect effect. I'll definitely be back again to read this many times.

I wonder if he realizes that the more you protest about being gay, the less convincing it sounds. "Methinks the lady doth protest too much." LOL My husband's best friend is like this. Both are as straight as arrows, but my husband loves to tease the hell out of his friend by flirting with him. Especially in front of strangers. His friend will blush and try to cover so much that he seems just like Nishina in the extra. It's really hilarious to witness.

You enjoy learning about the Japanese language, food, culture and humour from translator's notes. In this manga, the translator offers a whole page for chapter 2, but one is missing. On this page:

Saitou runs off holding his crotch after Masa tells him he can see his "throat dangler". So, why would Saitou grab his crotch? One of the kanji for throat is pronounced "inkou" and one of the kanji for penis is pronounced "inkei". Saitou may have misheard Masa thinking he said, "I can see your penis..." The Japanese do love to play with words!
Just a little addition to the vast array of knowledge found in translator's notes. Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

Is Kouta sitting on a tub, in the bottom right panel, or is that the toilet? 'Coz that is one enormous fucking toilet! Like, ENORMOUS! You could bathe in that thing! LMAO
