This story was truly beautiful and so very well written. The fantasy aspects of "other worlds" was a spot on reference to how your life is never the same after the death of a lover. Rather than taking the dark road of grief and portraying the journey the MC goes through as based in reality, the author did a wonderful job of using fantasy to portray it instead. The results end the same though, with the MC coming to terms with their loss, accepting it, learning to live the life in front of him and finding happiness there. The plot is unique and interesting, but the portrayal of those important feelings is never lost to the fantasy. I'm genuinely impressed at how well the author was able to make analogies to those intense feelings without losing their impact to the fantasy aspects. Achievement Unlocked!

Omg I never thought of it like that. The whole tidbit about finding happiness in front of you thing is such a true thing. When you lose someone it can be hard to cope, and believing they went to another world to start anew (after life), is a unique way to look at death. Ugh feels

How was it "well written"? There was literally NO plot or story, at least not a good one. The author didn't even have JUST plotholes, she literally did NOTHING with the premises she provided in the first place so she basically negated all the premises she gave.

So many comments making assumptions that Akio is an unwilling participant in the situation. Yet, the reader has no idea what transpired between Natsu and Akio between the school and Natsu's home. Akio could have been abducted or he also could have conspired with Natsu to help Yuki free himself of an imagined rivalry that was obviously detrimental to Yuki if it was causing him to steal answers before a test and potentially get himself expelled. The latter scenario seems far more believable since, at no time, did Akio show signs of anger, revulsion or even an attempt to struggle. In fact, he asks Yuki to, "Please put it in." It is the prevailing opinion that if a person is restrained and has pain inflicted upon them while engaged in sex, the act is automatically "rape". This biased view precludes the option of BDSM games. If many readers here witnessed the way in which I, and many of my friends, engage in sex, they would assume that we are being brutally "raped" and abused each and every time we have sex. Nothing, however, could be further from the truth, since we actively and consensually engage in BDSM games regularly. This is how we have sex. Thirty years ago, homosexuality; bisexuality; transgenderism were all viewed with the same distaste and revulsion that is expressed by readers here for situations they only assume are "rape". People "knew" these sexual preferences to be aberrations, disgusting and immoral. Imagine what we will "know" tomorrow.

This manga is erotic fiction. It is not a young adult novel or fairy tale. It is meant to arouse as much as it is meant to entertain. Thus, conflicts will not be resolved through typical, logical means. They will be resolved through sex. Sex is the entire point and purpose to erotic fiction, more so to explicit, or smut, erotic fiction. Why else would readers laugh at the idea of "yaoi logic"? It is a dismissal of the illogical means by which stories in this genre are propelled. The inability to recognize "yaoi logic" or the inability to separate fiction from reality is an indicator that the reader is ill-prepared for the concepts, themes and situations offered in the adult realm of erotic fiction and pornography. More time and thus, life experiences are required to prepare such readers.

My very first memories were of observing people and asking myself, "Why do they do that?" So, it seemed only logical that in high school I began taking AP psychology classes. I continued into college and began focusing on sexual psychology because it fascinated me the most. I have interviewed tens of thousands of people for close to 1000 different essays, clinical experiments and papers in the last 35 years (both my own and those of others). My imagination is drawn from experiences, both personal and second hand from interviewees. You might be surprised at how often fact is much stranger than fiction.

I like your argument, and I think I would have enjoyed the story more if it didn't come across as kinda depressing.

Your could have beens are fine, but as long as the author didn't mention or didn't show it, it'd remain as an assumption. In the first place, if Akio was willing, Natsu wouldn't have to abduct him. Moreover, he wouldn't need to restrain him either. Your idea of bdsm is a bit confusing. Bdsm involves great trust to your partner. In the story, we saw the aniki telling the younger bro to stay away from the good for nothing Natsu. It means he generally knew that the guy was nothing but trouble. No, where's the trust there? This is not being biased but we all know that what happened is rape. Stop justifying rape. For goodness' sake.
Yes, this manga is erotic fiction, but not all work like that contains dubcon. And not accepting ideas doesn't mean readers are not ready or ill-prepared for the concepts as you mentioned. It's just some of us find things such as rape repulsive unlike some people who enjoy it. Oops.

The stories are very short and some are poorly written - possibly poorly translated, but even a bad translation would have been consistently bad, where some of the stories were understandable and others were not. These seemed to be loosely connected to the theme of "bad one-liners" with a story written around them. I've definitely read worse, just not much worse.

I, literally, just finished reading and I can't remember anything about this manga. It left that little of an impression on me.

Eunho is now a man with a mission! He's no longer the innocent, clingy child he once was. We all grow as we experience the world around us and we grow tougher and smarter when we face adversity. Right now, Eunho is showing Jaeha a little tough love. He's not going to chase him or cling to him because that is not the kind of man Jaeha needs. He needs a man whom he can cling to, be protected by and rely on. Eunho was not that man two years ago. Jaeha can barely keep himself standing when he's in a relationship, let alone support a lover. His lover must be the strong, steady one. Eunho's approach is a gamble, but since Jaeha is such a self-flagellator and a masochist, I have a feeling that it will work.

    Love your assessment ! Torian

Thanks! I used to be Jaeha, always running from my feelings when things got too intense, pushing people out of my life to protect myself and then whining that no one would stick around. I always chose guys I could manipulate like that, weak, clingy guys that I could feel a little superior around because I could "mother" them. That is, until I got too attached. Then, I'd cause a fight and break up. I was a train wreck of a person. Then I met my husband. He let me "mother" him, but he never needed me to do it. He stood by me, but he never clung to me. He spoiled me, but he never let me get away with being a spoiled brat. I never knew just how much I needed a guy like him until I found him. The new Eunho reminds me of my husband... not the sadist part, my hubby is a big teddy bear. It's his determination that is similar. I think Eunho's love for Jaeha has always been real (or as real as fiction allows lol), but Eunho was not the kind of person Jaeha needed. Now, he is and he can give Jaeha what he needs rather than just giving his blind love. Even the greatest person in the world won't make the best partner for you if they are not what you need to be the best you, you can be. I'm only this confident in this couple because I lived it.

Thanks, again, for the compliment. Hope you find, or have found, the person you need too. Have a great day.

    Torian February 28, 2018 10:24 pm

So happy that you have found "The One" ! I did too, 32 years ago. (gosh thats a while ago ! ) lol The world would be a so much better place if everyone could find their "one". Blessings to you and yours !

Being accepted by others is easy, but accepting one's self is a lot harder. However, once you do it, even the tough things become easier to handle. You are who you are, fighting it only hurts you and everyone around you. If who you are is detrimental ( I don't mean homosexuality, I mean things like having the desire to hurt yourself or others) then, by accepting that part of yourself, you can also accept help to change it. If who you are is not detrimental but uncommon, like homosexuality, by accepting yourself you can help others see that who you are is acceptable and something they, too, should accept. Some will be stubborn and never accept you, forget them, they are unneeded baggage. Some will be stubborn for a time and will accept you eventually, keep your chin up and they will come around in their own time. Some will open their heart and arms and accept you immediately, keep them close, they will be your friends and allies for life. You have to love the person in the mirror before anyone else can truly love you.

This whole chapter was this lesson and it made my heart sing to read it. No matter what a person's "difference" is, loving and accepting yourself has to come first. This chapter and manga is just beautiful.

And I just keep enjoying it more and more. The pacing is so perfect! It's not too fast or too drawn out. It feels just right, the way Oosawa is standoffish at first, then hesitant, then accepting, then fully devoted to his choice and decision to be with Yoshioka. Yoshioka's subtle determination and the way he "buttered up" Oosawa with genuine kindness and concern was how I know I wish a potential lover would approach me. As ever, there is an antagonist that just makes me "Grrr". And that is Kana, Chizu's mother. She is written perfectly for an antagonist, not too dislikable - like, she's not a puppy kicker - yet not entirely likeable either. Kana is a selfish, self centered, one track minded, lousy excuse for a parent. The fact that I, and many other readers, feel this way about her character, is a testament to the mangaka's storytelling abilities. We are drawn in and we care about the protagonists to the extent that, when they are hurt by the antagonist, we get angry or feel bad for them. That sensation, of caring about a fictional character, is the mark of a capable storyteller. Disregarding any dislike for an antagonist, which is how we should feel, this manga is one of the best I've ever read.

Mameiha February 24, 2018 4:04 am

The stories move very fast and the "love" seems to come out of left field. However, after rereading it, I found it rather cute and funny. The speed of the stories is what make them so ridiculous and thus, hilarious. I found myself laughing out loud several times. It wasn't an annoyed feeling of "wtf", but an amused feeling. Like watching a cat do backflips while chasing a laser pointer. The backflip is entirely unnecessary and does nothing to aid the cat in catching the dot, but they do it anyway and it is hilarious to watch! This manga is my "cat doing backflips" and I plan to enjoy it again when I need my spirits lifted.

Poor delivery. There's no development in either the plots or the characters. The art is okay, but I felt the over use of chibi forms and distant angles was lazy. Whether it was the translation or the writing, the dialogue and exposition were very confusing. The general point kind of got across, but the finer details and nuance was lost. It felt like having a suspenseful thriller movie explained by a five year old. "There was this guy and he did this thing and went to this place and there was this shootout and explosions and then there where zombies, but the good guy survives in the end." Like, what?! Since this is the second time I read this and I only reread it because I had given it 4 stars initially, I'm thinking I must have been asleep when I rated this waste of time, data, ink and paper the first time.

**Side Note** Never, ever, fire a firearm at an interior wall in an apartment! Drywall, lumber and insulation are not enough to stop a bullet. My husband was nearly killed when an upstairs neighbor's son was messing around with his dad's rifle and fired it at the floor of his apartment. The bullet traveled through carpet, pad, subfloor, insulation, soundproofing sheeting, more insulation, ceiling drywall, more drywall in the wall of our apartment and two 2x4s sandwiched together that held up the drywall and door frame in the wall of our apartment. The bullet missed my husband's head by less than 4 inches because he was standing in the doorway when it happened. If the position of the barrel had been pointing just a millimeter or two to the left, my husband would have been shot in the head. Firearms are not toys, they must be handled with respect and responsibility. You are responsible for every bullet that leaves the barrel of your firearm.
And bullets cost from $0.22 to $5 each, depending on the materials the bullet is made from and the amount of material required. A .22 caliber bullet costs a few pennies to make from lead and copper, but a bullet costing $5 each would be made from depleted uranium and likely be a .50 caliber - yes, they exist and are used in the military to penetrate tank armour. So, unless breakfast costs less than $0.50 - the average price for a handgun bullet of any caliber - the seme is asking for too much in repayment. Though, if you count the labor cost of having to clean the gun after it has been fired, breakfast is a fair trade. LOL

Thank you so very much! I had given up on ever seeing the end to this story. You have revived my hope and my heart. You are my heros! Thank you for your time, effort and dedication, they are sincerely appreciated. Best of luck to you all and I hope to see more of your work in the future.
