A beautifully written (and drawn) manga with deep and genuine characters. The story lines and conflicts are solid and thoroughly resolved. The characters grow in a believable way and their personalities are maintained consistently throughout this long series. The mangaka's talent for drawing and storytelling evolves elegantly without sacrificing the canon of the story.
This is a manga that is well worth your time and attention.

...it felt like the mangaka was trying too hard to make an epic and failed miserably. Too many "lead couples"; incomplete plot lines; unresolved conflicts and unnecessary antagonists make the story feel crowded and confusing. Parts were eloquent, whereas others were remedially written. The characters were confusing in their thoughts and actions; their "personal growth" was limited and frankly, there were just too many of them to keep straight.
This won't be making my "re-read" list.

This manga is an excellent quick read. The plot is smooth, well developed and exciting. There are story lines that are open to future development but no plot "holes". Protagonist characters are lovable and endearing, antagonists get their deserved fate. This is a story I would definitely recommend to action lovers. The action is good and never gets in the way of the love story/stories. Check it out.

... is Vol. 2 in it's entirety. "Distasteful" content had been previously omitted. Since we are all ADULTS here - or at least we SHOULD be - I am glad to see that what I read is no longer censored by others who feel the need to push their opinions onto their fellow fans. Sharing an opinion is a wonderful privilege of reading / being online. FORCING your opinion down the throats of others is disgraceful, online or otherwise.
That said, the complete volume 2 really provides more depth to Touma's character and makes an incredible manga even more so.
IF YOU HAVEN'T READ IT ELSEWHERE - READ THIS UPDATE!

I agree entirely with you!
(although.... hehe.. everyone should be adults, huh... ==;)

...that I wish I'd never read. I like my yaoi to have hot sex and a happy ending. This story fulfills the sex but not the ending. Truly, this manga is beautifully written and drawn, a manga the mangaka can be proud of. Maybe the sequel will have the ending I seek... if I ever find it.

Here's the continuation of this story:

I hope you find it to your liking... :)

...and having read this twice, this is an impressively written story. When readers are engrossed in the story line and characters enough to feel indignant over certain plot conflicts, you know the mangaka has written a winner. This was, IMO, an exceptional story. It was exciting, romantic, sad at times, funny at others, but above all it ended happily. Kouya even gets his own manga out of it. Well worth reading more than once.

Are these just not scanned and translated or does the mangaka write the story out of order (some do)? THIS IS NOT A COMPLAINT - JUST A SINCERE QUESTION. I love this story and just want to know what to look forward to in upcoming updates.

I think this manga is licensed that's why no scanlating group is picking it. :( It's really sad.

WHAT!? NO WAY, PLEASE SAY YOU ARE JOKING!! Screw that, I'll start my own dang group and do it myself! I have family and friends that are from Japan and I have the hardware (not sure about software). Anybody interested in tucking into this project with me? I'd rather work myself to death than see this dropped now.

@Mameiha : I want to help, since I have drawing tablet and I studied graphics, I want to be a Cleansetter, but then I looked at how to become a Cleansetter, and looked at the tutorial how to "clean" the raw and such, grayscale, cut, edit, draw, bla bla, layer 123, I gave up.
Can't I just erase the text inside the text baloon and replace it with English?
I always want to help these kind scanlation, but just..
Photoshop isn't just my kind :(

...this is a fun manga for anyone who does not suffer from D.I.D. (also formerly known as M.P.D.) I have D.I.D. and having "multiple personalities" is not, and has never been, FUN OR FUNNY. I feel kind of jealous of Yu because he seems to have had it pretty easy. D.I.D. makes life very complicated and far more difficult than you can imagine. I was lucky to find an understanding husband who has helped me deal with my D.I.D. successfully.
I will say that, though there are some aspects of this story that are incorrect, for the most part it is right on the money for realism. The "fighting in the hosts head"; loss of time and memory; feeling the "alter egos" being there or not; being a spectator to events an "alter ego" is participating in...are all VERY real in the life of someone with D.I.D. The mangaka did a great job in portraying this in a lighthearted and comical way. Even though this story hits close to home for me, I still really enjoyed it and would read it again.
Wow. It took me two years to wander back this way again. LOL Rereading both the manga and my comment, my feelings haven't changed a bit. I enjoyed this story for a second time and felt exactly the same as I did two years ago, a little jealous of Yu. LOL
