...it's not all about "pretty boys" and super-hot guys. I loved the idea of the short little geek being strong, smart, rich in his own right, and a damn sexy seme to boot! That story drew out a serious "tummy tug"! Wow. The last story struck a chord for me...I'm deaf in one ear due to an injury, but had lost hearing in both ears for a time right after it. I totally related to the uke and thought this story was incredibly sweet...and sexy too.

I found this manga to be a fascinating read. The plot was interesting and intense, character growth was plausible, conflicts kept you on the edge of your seat but were never left unresolved and it even has a HEA (for everyone). There is a brother complex that devolves into dangerous obsession but NO INCEST. There are plenty of characters to love and a few you may love-to-hate, but all are on their own journey of self-discovery and find their destination in the end. Make time for this manga, you won't be disappointed.

... a little too "kawaii love and bunny cuddles" for me, oh and what's with the hooker in the last story? NO real, serious gamer chick would be caught dead looking that cheap! Cosplay as a character, sure...but cheap, old prostitute... never.
The story lines were quick and cute shounen ai. Characters were pleasing. Art was clean and attractive. This is a nice, quick and pleasant read. Worth your time after a "heavy", sad or serious manga. This is shounen ai and not really yaoi... sex may be implied but it's devoid of smexy details.

So, I'm prejudiced and misogynistic because I assume that female gamers have better taste and comportment than cheap hookers. Okay. I can only assume you, yourself, are a cheap hooker and have taken offense to my comment. In which case, I could truly give less than zero fucks. Cheap hookers and idiots do not deserve my respect or concern.

My apologies for the "dolt" remark. It was unwarranted. You were confused because my description was not clear. I meant that female gamers tend to have better taste and comportment than what was depicted here. It was an affront to female gamers, in my opinion. Some of us are sexy and sexual, but few are as cheap in appearance as is depicted here. Again, please forgive my rudeness.

Um I'm confused when u say gamer chick are u talking about the lady that the boys in the last story reported to and handed their reports to cuz if so I'm pretty sure she's not a gamer herself she's just an office worker that's y the two boys were there she's what u would call a supervisor to make sure the boys and other game testers did what they were supposed to do perhaps u should read it one more time and look at it very closely

Yes thats exactly what you are. The very definition of the terms. And I did take offense and now I'm taking even more offense you rude ass fucking dipshit. Fuck you and your opinions. It truly baffles me that you seem so incapable of comprehending your misogyny, a specially considering it is so extremely obvious. Quit ironic considering your comments about "idiots". In Sweden we have a saying that fits perfectly: "Don't throw rocks in glasshouses."
I do not sell sex at all but that's beside the point. Prostitution does not make any one my less of a human being neither does it take away from their value or their right to basic respect. And neither does dressing "cheap", which by the way is a ridiculous description. Fuck that shit. The fact that I never were clothes with a cleavage says absolutely nothing abort me as a person and neither does it in anyway affect my value or my rights as human being, and neither would the opposite. Clothes does not define a person. Behaviour does. And your behaviour is truly disgusting. What a horrible excuse of a person you are. Vile even.

In the last story there were 2 female characters. One dressed like an old hooker and one dressed like a cute office lady. The story revolved around gaming and the gaming industry. Whether she was a supervisor or the bitch who serves tea, she was involved in a gaming company and the gaming industry. I've been involved in gaming as a player and as the bitch that serves tea to designers - more like I answered phones and ran errands - as a whole, the females in the industry tend to be more laid back, but they have class. With the exception of a few outliers who never fit in and never stayed around long, this was always the case. Excessively revealing and distracting clothing tended to be discouraged and, frankly, didn't fit the personalities of the women I met and knew in the industry. So, regardless of the character's title or duties, she gave the impression of a low class hooker rather than the women in gaming in my experience.

True, but when people congregate in a group they tend to pick up trends, traits, styles and habits from the people they are surrounded by. The character was obviously not actually a hooker and she even seemed to have a likable personality. The mangaka's choice of attire for her just made her come off as cheap and easy, where, in my experience the people who congregate in groups with gaming as their common interest tend to have a bit more taste and class. There are always exceptions, of course, but they tend to not remain in the group even if they are liked by everyone, simply because they don't feel they fit in.

...a yaoi devoid of forced sex, detestable females and tsundere ukes. This was a fun and enjoyable read. The plot was simple, smooth and left nothing hanging in the end. The characters were all lovable and showed believable personal growth within the story line. The art was pleasing, though the uke and seme from the first story resembled those in the second, it was easy to distinguish them by personality. All in all, this is a good read.

...I had not read it at all. The stories are left hanging in the air. This may be comedy, but there were few, if any, funny moments. The characters are annoying and only one (uke in first story) shows any believable personal growth. Everything felt rushed and it was as if everyone was constantly yelling. Not worth my time to read this once, let alone twice. Sorry.

... but this took my "twisted" and drug it over the demented line, untwisted it, twisted it back again and shit all over it. This yaoi is FUBAR. It's no wonder the guys in yaoi go gay with chicks like this around them! LOL Dying does not give anyone the right to ruin the lives of others. Sorry.
This is one more yaoi that makes me despise how females are portrayed in this genre.

Uh, seriously? I think this one portrayed one of the best female roles ever in a yaoi manga. A woman who thinks of relationships the same way men have been taught to and women have been taught NOT to, meaning that women can be just as free to explore sexual relationships without feeling guilty about not seeking love, first.
And I really don't think you were reading this story very well going by what you said in your comment, below. The three of them were not friends. The closest relationship among them was between the sempai and kouhai. The black-haired dude and the long-haired dude were only passing acquaintances, at MOST.
And how did she ruin their lives? By dying on them? How can someone dying from leukemia willingly ruin someone's life? The fact that she didn't tell Orie that she was dying? The other two knew, and one of them was a person Orie looked up to and they also knew that he was her boyfriend. Why didn't THEY encourage her to tell him? They obviously knew he didn't know. Yet, somehow, it's only her fault? Maybe she didn't tell him BECAUSE she loved him, or, at least loved him, and the other two, as much as she was able? Oops.
Also, are you saying that Yuka made Suenobu and the black-haired dude into rapists and sadists? Of course you are, because only men (who act like men, that is) deserve a pass. I mean, you don't even realize how loaded with misogyny and homophobia your words are, do you? Women perform what you consider reprehensible and vile actions but men get a pass for performing the same actions while men can blame women for their actions but you sure better not expect women to be able to do the same!
You are also implicitly implying that being homosexual is somehow wrong.
Ugh.

WHAT? Excuse the fuck out of you!! How dare you attack me personally you childish little anonymous twit!! I don't give a flying rat's ass if you disagree with my opinion, nor do I give a shit about yours... but WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE to assume you know ANYTHING about me based on my one opinion of a FUCKING MANGA!! You extrapolated your own biases from one vague comment of mine and then projected your prejudices onto me personally.
Now, let me return the lovely favor you so graciously bestowed on me. Based upon your disgustingly biased comment, you my dear, are a card carrying man hater. I'm sorry if your daddy didn't love you enough, beat your mommy and ran around on her. Or was it your boyfriend that suddenly decided your shitty personality was more than they could take and chose to fuck your ugly best friend instead? Is that why you hate men?
Did you enjoy that dose of your own medicine? Not pretty or fun, is it? When a total stranger makes outrageous and unfounded assumptions about YOU based ONLY on an online comment. Next time you want to vent... try engaging your brain before you type and bitch about the topic or manga... don't EVER attack a commentor personally or make assumptions about them, when you know NOTHING. Also, if you are going to post such outrageously aggressive and insulting comments, have the decency to sign up or sign in - so that you can be called out on the carpet personally and privately, rather than subjecting other readers to the verbal dressing down you deserve to get.
BTW... I'm a bi-sexual FEMALE, my brother and most of my male friends are gay and my best friend is transgender. So, your theories of my misogyny and homophobia are WAY OFF THE MARK. In fact, I'm not even sure what planet half of your "written vomit" came from. My original comment never once touched on the topics that you so vehemently insulted me over. I think you owe me, and all of the other readers, an apology.
TO MY FELLOW READERS: I sincerely apologize that you were subjected to, not only my retaliatory rant, but also the original comment by this anonymous poster. Please forgive my foul language and harsh words, but knowing that I could not contact this person privately, I felt this was the only way to prevent this person or others from posting these types of "personal bashing" comments against anyone else. We are here, as fellow readers, to share and discuss our opinions of the manga we read, not to insult individuals on a personal level. The only purpose for my terribly cruel insults in my rant, was to emphasize how unfounded assumptions made by a stranger will make the person receiving them feel angry and indignant. Again, please accept my humble apologies for putting you through all that. MAMEIHA

Thanks. Your comment helped me calm down... a little. I got a little pissed off and really took off on a rant. I kinda feel like a dumb-ass for being provoked like that. *blush* People like that are so RARE on here, I was caught off guard. LOL I hope everyone can forgive me for being impetuous and indignant.

Every other page is so busy with dialog, the editors and cleaners must have gone blind working on all that. It really does give the feeling of being surrounded by a bunch of flaming neko. Yowling and screeching about every rumor in the mill. Brrrlugh.
The story has the potential to be really cute, but I couldn't get past all the excessive and unnecessary dialog. Eventually, I just read the "inner monologue" so that I could get through it. It's really a shame, because I enjoyed the plot and main characters.

For those who get their panties in a twist over cheating or the dad and Yuma being ex-lovers... it's fiction, find your sense of humor and reality. I laughed out loud when Kyoya said, "If he hadn't been conceived, I'd have already swallowed him." That's almost as good as "The best part of you ran down your mother's leg."
This manga was a cover to cover laugh riot! The one liners were priceless and the smex was HOT HOT HOT!
... if you ignore the dropped plot lines. Perhaps a continuation of this story exists somewhere - like in the mangaka's mind.
That said, this was not a bad story. The writing was smooth and interesting. In the "completed" story lines, the characters were likable and were written with admirable traits and personal growth. It had wonderfully sweet moments and lots of hot smexyness. I'd read this again. I'd also enjoy seeing a continuation where all the plot holes are filled in.
