This was my take on it...
*SPOILERS*
The male prostitute was abandoned or sold by his brother during winter. The brother then returns years later, also during winter -- this is when we see them "hook-up". The brother was basically saying his goodbyes. He had committed murder and had to run or be killed. When the male prostitute finds out about his brothers situation he runs into the street to find his brother gone but his patron is arriving. He asks his patron to call him by his real name, as his brother would have done, knowing this time his brother will likely never return. The End

I'm pleased with the most recent update but...
This was my first read through of the whole story. I like most of this series but, felt like I would grow old and die before anything would come of the main characters' relationship. I think too much time was spent on pointless meetings and conversations at the ad agency. I was so bored during these exchanges that I considered giving up on reading the manga. Thankfully, I persevered and was rewarded. Thirty five chapters is a bit much to bring a relationship to fruition.
Other than that, the rest of the story is intriguing, the characters and their growth is believable and the art is pleasing. If you have A LOT of time to invest, this is a manga that will reward your efforts.

... and THAT was the sex scene...what a letdown.
Don't get me wrong, I love this manga so far. The characters and story are written well and the art is very nice.
There are some character personalities that are incongruous... the mother has no problem with her daughter getting pregnant and being dumped by the baby's father (at first), yet she flips her shit and fires her assistant because, as a child, he was adopted by a yakuza family that is now defunct and with whom he no longer has contact. Maybe the inconsistencies will be explained later in the story, but for now it doesn't add up for me.

I mean a pregos daughter is fine but come on a yakuza worker is dangerous even an ex yakuza I would have done worse for all we know there could be a hit on his head that could endanger them all too hash but fair.....poor yuma thoi(● ̄(エ) ̄●)

...touching, simply written and nicely drawn. The second story would make a great stand alone manga.
That said... if you are not into shotcon, you may want to skip chapter 6. I don't personally have issue with this genre. I actually find it funny (in manga only -- I don't approve of, nor do I condone child molestation). My take on shotacon is this... If you have to use your index finger and thumb to jerk your partner off, you are doing it WRONG and SEVERAL YEARS TOO EARLY!! If your partner's testicles have NOT DESCENDED... just STOP, take a step back, slow your roll and THINK!! PRISON IS AN UNHAPPY PLACE FOR CHILD MOLESTERS!!

Chances are that as a Shota he hasn't hit the mark yet. As long as he's consenting age we got nothing to fear by the Japanese laws. Also there are guys with small penis's out there, many 16 year old boys who haven't hit their growth mark yet can be smaller then when they do hit it.
My sons were into the anime and when the season ended they searched the manga online. That was all the way back at chapter 33!! With a mangaka like Kubo Tite -sensei, it is no wonder this manga has such a long run. The story lines are always superb and the artwork is astonishing.
