the first 2 stories he tells are pretty good. especially the teacher arc, which was the least predictable of what we've seen through chapter 21. hasn't been the same since, though, and the college arc is really beginning to drag on

this is the first Chinese comic I've read and it's become the new shounen standard for me. through 146 chapters not once has the story dragged on or become tedious. the main character is great, the supporting characters are great, the humor is average, but fairly enjoyable, there's a ton of interesting lore, the subplots are many and they all find a their way to becoming stepping stones for the primarily intended narratives. the only drawback for me is xun er being the main heroine. she's shit compared to literally every other girl that's appeared. the translations are also very rough, but that's obviously not a reflection of the author's talent and product. if you're on the fence about exploring manhua and currently reading this topic, I highly recommend you jump right in, you won't regret it.

I agree with everything except what you said about xun er she's really an awesome girl and you can't help but love her plus she isn't weak at all so i can't see why you hate her

not great, but not terrible. truza is a contradicting main character if there ever was one. considering how he was a corpse photographer prior to being named subjugator, which implies an indifference to unnatural deaths, his outburst after killing the lvl 50 monster in the town didn't really coalesce with the stoic, objective-driven part of him that's portrayed 99.9% of the time.

despite the chapters being one page long, we're miraculously provided enough detail to accurately formulate the character's backgrounds ourselves. very unique and well done piece

this took so long to update that I was afraid me falling in love with the series made it disappear

pretending to be something you're not to fit the mold your peers have cast until you have a meltdown isn't groundbreaking, but it's relatable, which can oddly enough be said about most of this authors works, despite the obscure characters he uses to express them. definitely not one of inio's more thematically inspired works, though still very enjoyable.

a somewhat surreal and unique approach to the outcast/loneliness themes of existentialism. the "headphone girl" prototype series that's shown at the very end could've been something great

I hope a better scan group picks this up soon. this series could turn out to be fun and maybe even mildly refreshing without all the fucking mistakes. it probably won't happen though considering this only has 11 chapters

seems entertaining enough, but the translations are so bad that the punchlines and set-ups lose all of their steam

another mediocre plot from a mediocre author. I could have dealt with the overall tastelessness of the characters if the main character wasn't just another fickle blank slate who's merely a bridge between a brainless demographic of readers and extremely forced developments

I'd like to see you do one, to be honest. If you think you can do a more beautiful plot, gorgeous art, etc, let's see you try. Because if you're going to be extremely negative and rude towards the mangaka who did their utmost best in producing this manga, your opinion is worthless. You are a disgrace to all manga/manhwa readers.

gorgeous art? the art is average at best. I think what you're trying to say is that the character designs are decent, but very well detailed. the term "art" encompasses more than just the characters. background detail and aesthetics are at least 50% of what an artwork opinion should be based on, and with regards to this manga, those details are non-existent, meaning that, at best, this artwork can only be considered 5/10. and as for the "beautiful plot" you speak of, there's really nothing new, deep, or beautiful about another generic, sum-of-the-supporting-character's wishes protagonist, nor is there anything thematically or philosophically fruitful yet. and judging by the author's previous works, we can expect the trend to continue. if you want to be angry at anyone, be angry at the author for setting your expectations so low that anything with flashy artwork will stimulate you

Well, excuse you. I was merely trying to say that you are not even the tiniest bit appreciative of the hard work the mangaka puts into this. Obviously manga can not be shit out of their asses, because it takes time to put something together. I never said that it "stimulated" me, and it definitely isn't one of my favorite manga. I don't even like it that much. But I do try to appreciate things that people put their hearts and soul into, so you may as well shut that mouth of yours before it gets shut permanently.

'mediocre author'....i suggest you try reading their previous works before you could call them 'mediocre'...idiot

You prove to me that even the best artists and authors can have haters and people who mock on their works, lol. That encourages me to work harder on my Mangas.
Tbh, art and plot of this one are good, and I'm someone who draws and writes scenarios. What displeases me a bit is this unecessary romance between the MC and Saki that authors feels the need to put in Shonens like this, but overall we can say that it's a nice and entertaining Manga with great art style. The only real reproach is that by some aspects it reminds me of Death Note, with the angels, the powers and adversaries brought by these powers, and all the questionments of one can do if they were given such powers... Will they act good or bad?

While you could've given better arguments, you really just wanted to shit on a Manga and totally lack of arguments. A rock thrown in the ocean, really...
