Am I the only one that had the idea that the senpai might (very likely) be an adult that's just disguising himself as a student? A teacher seems unlikely, so I'm having the hunch he might be the principal or a relative of the people in charge. Kinda like a "I didn't have time to be a real highschooler, so I'm gonna spend some time pretending to be one and watching/interacting with them.". Or possibly even that paired with PPS of sorts?
That was my first thought anyway.
Either way, I personally didn't get creepy vibes with this (it's hinting too much gentle-ness from A to Z, in my opinion).
