i LOVE his character. the "bottom" characters r usually either beefy and badass, or on the other side of the scale: tiny, cute, and shy. obv it's not like his type of character isn't unheard of, but I really underestimated him thinking he'd just be another weak uke that only learns how to speak of for himself later in the story but damn he's such a baddie that will not fw anyones bs.

i think they meant that ch 19 is the latest released ch so the raws are currently up to ch 19 but it’s not the last chapter
while I'm not defending jasper for what he said, but you gotta think abt it from his pov. imagine thinking someone was your friend and genuinely just wanted to share their luck with you just to find out, he just wanted to use your unluckiness so he can die. altho we know hart changed, how would jasper know, hart hasn't told jasper anything abt his current emotions. jasper felt used, and technically was used. he even had feelings for hart too , so just imagine how betrayed he felt after reading harts thoughts in that diary that he meant nothing more to hart than a detour to death. and understand that jasper has a history of believing people were his friend just to find out they hated him. that must've hurt extra, since hart was someone that comforted him abt it. he felt like a tool that was used at harts convienence, feeding jasper sweet words to cover up the fact that he felt nothing for jasper. and as someone that's been used many times , it feel shitty. jasper has went through this betrayal MULTIPLE times, how would u feel if when you finally make a new friend, you realize they were just like the rest, who were two faced assholes that played you bc u were too nice.
i totally agree. it was cruel to use jasper but it was equally cruel to say that to hart. sure it was the heat of the moment and he didn’t mean it, but it was still said. and it hurt him. sometimes the words you don’t mean hurt the most. maybe i’m being too rude but i can’t really understand how you can say “go die” to someone. but i am the type of person who thinks before i say and doesn’t run off emotion so i can understand him

yes and no, jasper wasn't telling hart to go die directly, he was saying how if hart wants to die so badly, he should die on his own without using jasper as a means to his death (bc that's y hart wanted to hold hands with jasper, to get his unluckiness so his suicide attempts actually killed him) jasper still believes hart is trying to hold hands with him bc he wants to die, so he's telling hart that if he wants to die, he can but die on his own means without using jaspers unluckiness
yeah i understand but it was still said. when you say go die, it doesn’t matter why or what context you said it from. it could be misinterpreted. i can understand why jasper said it because my sister has always been suicidal and telling me she want to kill herself since i was a child. and it tires me out and causes me to think thoughts like jasper’s (and it hate it) but never in my life, will i ever tell her to go die just because it hurts me
