It's just forced sex. Worst, Author decided it was "right" to make the victim feel like he enjoyed it. And to add to that, the perpetrator is fully aware of what he's doing is wrong but do it regardless. In the past and even now because "he has no choice if he want him to be by his side". Author really try to make it romantic. It's sickening...
I truly don't get why historical drama in Korea are restricted by some comitee when they actually state that they work on a fiction "based on historical fact". :x
im assuming it might be cause of reputations' sake/putting Korea in bad light, mostly to foreigners, even if it is mostly fictional (based on the mentioning of the gwangju uprising movie getting sanctioned, a real life event)

For added context, it's really taboo to say Foie Gras is a Pâté in France. You cannot even spread it on your toast without everyone give you heavy & judgemental side-eyes.

Great art. MC & ML seem to be fine so far, no huge red flag. I'm always wary when I read an omegaverse story because the non-consensual & forced sex is everywhere. Well, it's also the case here tbh but at least it's not with ML and is portrayed as something awful.

I obviously talked about the manhwa, in their works of fiction. And I don't know why you would bring the colonial era as it's never used in a Manhua/Manhwa/Manga as far as I know. France in those is always used for fancy or romanctic travels, a place where you can learn art & cooking or some sort "noble" or "aristocratic" country. More of a Europe thing for the last one. But big villains ? It's either their close neighbours (Japan, China, South/North Korea), USA or Russia.
Well that's why i didn't want to jump the gun and asked if you meant it in the context that korean manhwa never mention Britain or France colonising history but it's to be expected since they go way back with japan and china and even usa but i have a bone to pick with France sice they colonised my country for 132 years you see but it's nothing personal against you i swear sorry if my original question came off aggressive or if you thought i was attacking you
