I really don't know where the story is going on. It could be a banal romance between MC & ML but something tell me it wouldn't be that simple. ML really seems to be inspired by MC"s real life & created to 'heal' the broken MC. We also know that MC also had a Sunbae that somewhat take care of him (like MC do for ML). White Haired guy is sus as fuck but I don't know if he is an antagonist or something totally different (The sunbae himself ? The real end goal ?). So yeah I'm really confused and in the end it could just be as simple as the story goes (Them falling in love, healing each other and somewhat be translated into MC's reality) but I really enjoy the ride so far.
Well, at least we still got a 'proper' ending and not some 'hiatus' to infinitus that don't give at least some form of closure. It was either not popular enough or author didn't want to work on it anymore. For the people who want to start reading this, go for it, it's still a nice story thant end a bit quickly BUT it still make sense I would say. Not the read of the year but quite a nice read.
Everyone seem to view the 3rd one as an antagonist but he is probably the end game, no ? Because I don't see thing going well if he choose any of the original MCs of the novel. This manwha is really weird because at this point we should have strong hint at who we win over MC but I still have no clue at how this thing will end. :x
I read a spoiler post before, but I can't find it anymore. What I remembered is:
Jaewoo came into the novel because the 3rd guy irl is scarily obsessed with him. The 3rd guy's younger sister was the one who put MC into the novel to help him escape. The 3rd guy kills Jaewoo to take him out of the novel. However, he and his circumstances are so miserable that he begs the sister to put him back in the novel. He transmigrates in with his real body and eventually meets with Hyeonjin again. It takes Hyeonjin a while to recognize him, but they eventually reunite.
It's a good story but some thing make really no sense to me:
-The 1st King isn't crazy. So why did he use his last guard to save the childrens when he know that rebel are here to kill him ? He doesn't really care for their life (he torture them to death) and he use the 1st prince for saving his life so he value his own life. Btw, why did he just not dodge the knife ? He saw that comming for pulling the prince fast enought to porotect himself.
-The 'romance' between the Red-Haired Count and Shin. He touch my hand. It was warm so i'm become in love ?! WTF ? x) I know Shin is really good looking but it was really lazy for me.
It was just some exemple but overall, some detail are overly complicated for no real reason and some are just completely dumb. But i like Shin/Wolfgang and Sys/Wolfgang Doppelganger. ^^
1) I believe the old king treated his "children" as prized possessions. indeed, he tortured them, but he selects who he tortures carefully. he's a greedy bastard and cares not but for his pleasure, and the kids gave him pleasure he wants (gag) and allowed him to act out hus fantasies on them. so, when he heard about his prized possessions being destroyed, he asked the guards to protect them. think of it this way: you know those movies where a greedy bastard still tries to save his money even while everything around him is falling and burning? it's like tgat. and in the end he got cocky. he thinks of himself immortal, unbeatable. like a god. in the end, that was his down fall.
2) heiyan is touch-staved and locked away for many many years. he has had very minimal interaction with other human beings. no one showed him love whatsoever. so when someone finally touched him and showed interest in him, he felt emotions he's never felt before. that's why he desperately clung to shin. in a different circumstance, i think he'd fall for anyone who showed him a shred of love. i think his story is very sad. he's not a bad guy but he was snuffed out so quickly
Cute story. But seriously, Japan see the french culture in a weird way. No, we are not some kind of kissing maniac. We just greeting each other with 'fake" kiss on cheek (lips don't make contact with the skin). Kissing each other on lips is only used between lover.
And what is 'Chocolatine aux cerises' ? x) Chocolatine is a thing but we call it 'Pain au chocolat' and it's not a cake (like a Croissant but with chocolat). It was probable a 'Forêt-noire' if it was really a 'chocolate cake with cherry'. It's a German cake by the way.

Kind of weird story. The MC seems to be REALLY talented but absolutely no one want him to work for them ? Even it's a slave contract or forced labor (seem what they would do). But no, they just take advantage of a random potion he did without anyone asking and then just let him be ? They are either really stupid or it's quite a plothole to me.
It appears that because of his "commoner" status nobles don't even see him as human. So, that's probably why they don't even bother with him. They're probably like "we can just get products at a cheap price and not even pay him the real amount, he's a commoner. How will he even know?" Sort of thinking.
Which makes sense with their treatment of him and not wanting to work with him.
Oh I totally get that and it's why I talked about slave contract or forced labor. But not using at all a guy that already make them gain a fortune is just dumb & short sighted. Or again, a plothole.
Yea, I get that. But it seems that there might also be someone blocking him that's in the royal family. So, maybe it could be foreshadowing too
I mean I thought it was pretty accurate. If you look at history or just society in general this sort of thing has happened for centuries, heck if you just look at women and BIPOC individuals alone you can easily pick out hundreds of examples. The existence of biases and discriminations has nothing to do with intelligence, and these kinds of mentalities prevent people and society from advancing.
For example, let's take the invention of the light bulb.
While Thomas Edison is credited with the invention, it was actually Lewis Latimer who invented carbon filaments (pretty much the main part and the whole reason it works, he also wrote the 1st book on electric lighting as well as worked with many famous inventors like alexander graham bell and was pretty much a genius).
The patent for his invention wasn't issued until AFTER Edison, despite Edison using HIS technology. Later on, Latimer had to file another patent for the "process of manufacturing carbons" (he needed to patent the method after they started to try a mass produce light bulbs). Even then, this was considered a huge accomplishment, and he was considered fortunate because many black individuals, such as his parents before him, were prevented from applying for patents at the time.
I consider the story to be a fairly accurate portrayal of a pretty common but horrendous scenario that we still see often today. Honestly, the plothole is just discrimination bias since discrimination bias is based on unreasonable hatred without any logic.
Yep!! Very well explained.
This happens to artists in the world NOW, as someone who is affiliated with different type of artists /especially designer students, you'd be surprised lol. It hits close to home actually.
Couldn't have said it better
I saw the raws, it will be explained in the later chapters if i‘m not mistaken
