and this is how one successfully writes a male lead redemption arc and how a weak fl can turn into a fl because they learn through experiences and their mistakes just like ppl in real life. over a span of a twenty year revolution through the war and trauma they were still able to find peace. i still can’t believe that this story’s actually complete after all this time.
honestly with how manhwas are nowadays i’m just glad this story has a somewhat satisfying cohesive ending after a reasonable amount of chapters where the chapters actually aged and grew as people instead of staying children for 100+ chapters. is it the best out there? not really but it was an enjoyable time passing read despite the loose ends like franz and the father etc but for all it’s worth the author did a decent job at typing up the ends and creating a decent ending and storyline.

The dad and the painting. Why did he want to go into the painting? Did they forgive each other? Are they together in heaven or hell? Didn’t she hate or love him? Did he end up loving her? Confused me so much
Yeah it's complicated but somehow i feel satisfied with the ending, this is what you called a revenge focus on the goal a did it manhwas nowadays just so pure and forgiving, but well i hope the dad suffer with the kaiser/emperor in that ocean and paula watching them suffer
please give them a break just for one or two chapters
honestly i loved the story development so much and how much they’ve grown and changed as individuals throughout the entire manhwa. this is just one of the reads w more complex characters that aren’t completely likeable but more so a reflection of what it’s like in the real world
so these manhwas guys never heard of communication huh
the ml really looks creepy and scary but is always drawn to look nicer in mc’s pov
