It's evocative of Romeo and Juliet. It's supposed to be dramatic. This couple really is starcrossed.
Their parent's don't get along.
Takei stabbed Taisei who was defending Luka. Romeo stabbed Tybalt for killing Mercutio.
Touma reminds me of Juliet's goofy nursemaid.
The railroad tracks mean something.... There a lot more parallels I missed I'm sure.
some go read this one omegaverse

http://www.mangago.zone/home/mangalist/120017/ well, hey there. thank you, pure romance, sweetheart. so here's some more recommendations. I love the first one on the list Hyacinth. high recommendations there
Hyacinth is complete if you want to read all of Jiang xi and Xaiomi's story. The links are on my In-Heat list. I created a Google document with the art and translation to English. Their story ends at Ch 26, and it's fantastic.
The chapters above ch 26 are the blond doctor and his boyfriend's story, which I wasn't interested in mainly because I can't imagine the doctor as anything but a woman. I like stories about women just fine, but not when I'm reading yaoi. I hope that makes some kind of sense. lol
what impresses me is how everything makes sense. To Luka, his Alpha mate feels far away. He's smart, handsome, popular, bright future, top rung of society. Just seeing Taisei makes Luka feel like he has a debt hanging over his head, like he owes Taisei money. He loves Taisei, so he desperately wants to free him of the hindrance he feels himself to be, which would also free him of the debt.

I'm removing these words, baka, stupid, and idiot from the next update all the way back to the end of ch3. so tired of hearing it. jeez
I agree. I like Luka. I enjoyed the story, and I appreciate the translators. I wish people would stop calling him stupid like that's all you have to say about him.
