I really loved the main couple, but the plot had quite a few holes and the ending felt rushed & unsatisfying
1) If the ML's kingdom effectively lost the battle/war, why then did the MC's original kingdom not continue and try to take over their land or demand things i.e
gold, fur, land etc., so the battles/war would stop?
2) Yes, the ML's kingdom have a deep connection with the wolves but does that mean the people are faster or have better eyesight??
Just any practical advantage?

Though the mangaka definitely left somethings out that should have been mentioned, they didn't lose the war.
From the information that we've been given, I think we can assume that the western country decided to not pursue the war after the prince went missing. Since they only attacked them in the first place because the prince went there.
The king didn't want him to be delivered at the palace but at the border. So he probably was planning to sent someone to have him killed anyway. Now that he jumped in the river and his body hasn't been found they probably assumed that his body is somewhere dead at the bottom of the river after drowning. So it's probably good riddance for the western king.
About the wolves connection. From what I remember only his smell and hearing is better than the average person. He only lost one eye so he will still be able to see with his other eye. The only thing he won't be able to do is see depth, zo stairs might be difficult for him.
But hey, we got a happy ending with three kids. All is well that ends well ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Also, anyone else like to see more depth in the relationship between the FL and ML?
I'm scared that with the author dragging out the story (I am very much enjoying these random invasions and side missions. Genuinely haha ) that there will be rushed and sudden confession from the ML.
A snog and then 'The End'.
With side stories, if we're lucky ( ̄∇ ̄")

While I'm really glad we've seen character growth and an explanation for the trauma responses the ML gives.
...But the abuse and near execution of the 1st concubine was TOTALLY on him.
(╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸
He knew she was a child and that her family had both used & abandoned her.
He didn't need to show her affection, he could've asked the blue haired concubine to watch over her or link their palaces. Anything!?!!

Is anyone else bemused by the FL's lack of plan for:
A) Either introducing their daughter to the ML or
B) Saving enough money and then fleeing the company, so the FL & daughter never meet the ML again or
C) Hitting the ML on the head with a sledgehammer, in the hops his memories come back ( ̄∇ ̄")
It just feels like she's being really passive and meh, about something quite
important #-.-)
Yes, we know that the mean purple haired lady spread false rumours about her relationship with the ML
But CRUCIALLY that didn't come out because of the FL, it just kinda happened with the ML eventually realising it'd become an issue and nipping it in the bud.
For all the FL knows, the ML ABANDONED her after finding out she was pregnant. And now doesn't remember her and has/had a fake fiancee...
Bruh...I'd be going to jail... ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Bro what teh heck are you saying, did you forget that she found out about his accident and memory loss.
She's making the right choice here, one wrong step and he could think she's a freeloader who's only after his money or even worse, he could take her daughter.
The protagonist thinks and her plan to get closer little by little makes perfect sense.
Especially because it wasn't long ago that she found out he really wasn't engaged.

I've only read chapter 1 and it feels like the FL is also regarding the OGFL as a 'fool' and a cause of the Duke 'wasting' his fortune by getting her treated.
The art definitely feels familiar, so it'd be disappointing if *this* is the direction they chose to follow

So
*Spoiler*
OG was dumb because she had no soul. Her body was basically operating on survival mode. And the FL is the original soul. At least that’s the implication. She was living in the modern world for some reason and after she died as the Saintess the ML went to a witch to bring her back. The witch checks a few chapters ago and she was surprised at how the FL felt? In the body or her soul felt like it was from this world? I forget this part lol.
But ya that’s the idea that they seem to be implying right now.
That scene with the FL holding Yuuri in her arms in front of the flowers. Talking about how being around each other gives them both magical warmth...
I can't (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
I.. I have no words?!!
