I'm so in love with how this story talks about trauma and relationships. I love how this past chapter fleshed out his early life and his and Noa's relationship and doesn't gloss over it because it was a significant part of himself and it drills in just how the incident changed him and his life in so many ways and how he lost so much, including all that he had before, the normality and stability and the partner he walked alongside.
Honestly this episode made me fall in love with Noa all over again. I just love her attitude and how she carries herself. They probably would have had built an amazing life together; maybe they have in an alternate dimension somewhere.
Came into this hoping for a nice historical story and now I'm bawling like ?? I can't get over how amazing the story is, especially the characterization, the nuances of personality and gender and oh my godness them as old men in the end, that just killed me
