Idk about y'all, but when confronted with someone who doesn't speak my language, I'd use hella body language and gestures. I don't understand why he keeps talking to her like that when it's evident she don't understand a thing. When checking in, I'd probably point upstairs and make a gesture for sleeping and eating. That alone would help confirm her theory that it's an inn.
