The synopsis made it sound poignant and a little depressing, but it ended up having such nice comedic moments that balanced out the angst and seriousness of the nature of the story. Plus the uke was such a gem!! I liked the silly naughtiness and cheerful play the uke showed, even tho he was likely very insecure and anxious inside whilst waiting for the seme to fall in love with him again and regain his memories.

I preferred the original story flow that came from the magazine (instead of the tankoboun version) - right up to when Uyama upped and left for New York and left Sakyou high and dry. I loved the drama and the angst - it was unnecessary perhaps, but ahh the sweet clenches of pain to my heart!! I was also curious to see how the mangaka would have tried to end it had she kept to the original storyline, esp after that tragic way of hanging the story. (Alas for me), she re-wrote it. Definitely a happier and more positive version thats preferred by more readers, but still, I REALLY wanted to see how they would have met again in NY following the original story, the make-up sex would hv been *chef's kiss*. Regardless, I love this story NGL, in fact all the works by Sensei Natsume Kazuki is awesome.

I prefer yaoi but this is one of those rare hetero mangas that I truly enjoyed reading every single chapter. Asako and Kotaro are an absolutely adorable couple. I love the pace of their relationship, how honest they are with each other and I can literally feel their chemistry exploding off the pages sometimes! I also appreciate the smut is NOT given priority and placed where it should be - to showcase their emotions and feelings for each other. It honestly makes the story even more fulfilling. 10/10 from me!

Gosh where do I start. This was seriously good. Made me giggle, made me teary, made me smile, made me howrny, its gonna go in my re-read list for sure. Aoi definitely irritated me at the start but he grew on me so much! (Anyone who takes a knife for the one he bullied before has great character development IMHO, dontcha think) And GOD, RYO.Is.So.Dem.Fine!! 2nd couple was decent too. BUT most importantly, I REALLY need to try those Nobeya puddings!!!

One of the best done enemies-to-lovers trope in a BL, and an omegaverse to boot! Loved it and loved them both, the two idiots in denial but undeniably in love hahaha! I fervently hope for a second volume, nay a third and fourth too please, its so damn entertaining! In the top of my Omegaverse list along with Megumi and Tsugumi!

I honest-to-goodness love the uke!! Kota-chan is so in touch with his emotions, and mature and honest in how he deals with his growing feelings for Yoshino. So refreshing! And whilst initially Yoshino might come off as a dick (what freakin sex party was that??) we grow to love him with every step and stumble he takes when he undeniably falls in love with Kotarou. Adorable couple. I can see them growing old together, ever in love!
Its really a very sweet romance. I would have liked a little angst, some serious questioning and discussions they did together on long term relationships, esp gay - between half beast and human. I am also sad they did not discover they were childgood friends. But I am so happy to see a yaoi couple grow happily old together, and here for Riku to get married. I think the best line in the manga was what Iori said to Gouda at Riku's wedding - "All the way to the very end, I will be by your side. I'll take care of you until our final farewell". That completely tugged my heartstrings, I heaved a little sob.
