The plotting is just so bad..
I can't believe I'm saying this but true beauty had a much better plot even though it lost its focus but atleast the pacing was fine. I wish the creator would not just focus on the art style of the Manhwa but the content and dialogue delivery of it as well.
This was a disappointment but here is hoping to a good future development.

The Emperor is so annoying oh my god. He is supposed to be the leader of the nation but he doesn't even have the decency to keep his stupid pride aside to help find the assassins and punish them- it should be his duty as her husband or just a fucking human decency to help a fellow human in peril.
If he can't even do that why doesn't he just allow her some resources to deal with the issue on her own? It's a matter of life and death it's not like she wants him to throw her a banquet.
i agree, he's like a brat despite being a king. the people around her were more like a nanny and babysitters. he's really suit together with the nanny girl. the empress deserves a better man, not someone who'll need to be understand all his life
Frankly I just wish that she would transmigrate back to her own world or end up with the Villain but according to the spoilers I'm only setting myself up for disappointment

i mean an emperor must know his duty, he doesn't need to show affection for the empress. but not protecting the empress under his land, he has to at least do something about the safety.

I saw a comment down below mentioning something that has also been bugging me- is this Cayena's rebirth into her past life or is this the transmigration of someone from Korea into Cayena?
The prologue states that she did transmigrate but the narration feels weird because the writer is making it seem as if this is Cayena herself who is living her second Life and repenting her past mistakes while trying to make the best of the situations.
I've read many transmigration & rebirth novels and manhwas but this is the first one that is actually making me really confused about the main characters past.
I get it that before transmigration she used to live in Korea and really related to the Villainess because she felt as if she was somebody else's doll too but there is a certain limit to relating to someone- right now she is acting as if she has personally gone through all the emotions and situations Cayena did and that might be okay to some extent because she has her memories but that doesn't mean you lose your own self while living someone else's life...
I don't know I really loved the story in the beginning but now I'm just a little lost about it because I can't understand the character and her motivations.
It's been a while since I read this manhwa and wanted to reply to ur comment when I read it I saw someone's comment as well but someone else replied that this situation was very well stated in the Novel and not yet portrayed in manhwa

Uh idk if they reuploaded or something but I’m pretty sure when I first read this it clearly showed her dying as Cayena bc she was dumb af. That’s why she got ptsd around that ugly green hair dude bc her brother sold her off to him and he abused and killed her.
I remember reading something like that but then I checked the prologue and it showed that she was killed by an anonymous person when she was walking home from work in Modern day Korea so maybe they uploaded the prologue later and that got readers to get confused
I think someone who read the novel commented about this in a previous chapter: that her first life was as cayena the princess, and then her second life was as a girl from modern Korea, and then her third life is basically her reliving first life again as cayena the princess
I actually find it weird that some people are bashing the main ship- like it's indicated right from the start that the blue haired guy was a good guy but Hari never held or developed feelings of love for him even when they were getting married in the past- she just liked him enough.
On the other hand there have been many indications of how close Hari & Eugene used to be in the past like they used to walk hand in hand, she used to be really close to him and more.
They haven't really spent alot of time together as kids and Eugene was always treated as an adult even when he was a kid so it's quite possible he only wanted to protect Hari, not just as a sister.
Everyone has their own preferences but when it's indicated right from the start, it doesn't make sense to bash the couple- just drop it if you don't like it because it's not something that the author just sprung on us as a surprise.

I just admire the writer & artist so much for portraying an MC who is so realistic? It's the first time I've ever read about a transmigrated character who still suffers or is tormented by their past issues and the manner in which it was incorporated was so good. I'm so happy to see this but my heart aches so much for the MC because issues related to looks and food are ones almost every human has been tormented by and it's just so heartbreaking.
The Saintess and her band of priests have to be hands down the worst kind of scum I've ever read about- they don't even deserve a place in hell for all their sins because that will be too good for them. I fucking hate them so much.
I cried so much when I read the part about how the kind hearted Julius was hanged and then even his remains were fed to the beasts- how cruel can a person be. Someone rightly said- there is no one as scary as humans, because there are no monsters worse than humans.
This is really very painful to read but I hope they have a beautiful ending together- I'm so glad that the FL got to travel back in time and I hope she brutally tortures and kills that Saintess.
Oh my god I feel so much for the fan- I probably would've just started crying after seeing both my idols interacting in that way XD
