Yeomra's death is by far not the saddest scene in this manhwa. I cried when that old gramps reunited even if one of them is a water ghoul and also teared up about that narcissist x photographer scene. Yoomin is indeed too softhearted. He shouldn't waste his tears for that jerk. He suffered so much already.....When I think about this again, I wished Yoonjae would throw that Sobyol dude around more and whack him on the tree or use him as weapon when he was imposing as that small old gramps. Why? Because Sobyol didn't take care of Yoomin when he was a flower that triggered everything....But then again, there's no storyline gor this manhwa....or was it? Idk anymore.

It seems like people like this arc but I don't. Every time I read about parents brainwashing children, everyone hates the parents for obvious reason but I hate the one who got brainwashed more. They don't know how to stand up for themselves. That's just weak and cliche plot. If I was the MC, I would choose to get rid of the villainess. It's a straightforward solution but they just have to make the story complicated by understanding this or that character.

they don't know how to stand up for themselves bc maybe it's easier? brainwashed children tend to rely on the path their brainwashing parents had laid out for them, that's literally their whole character since their childhood as they never got the chance to develop their own. some escape that faith by standing up for themselves, but that's because they have an external influence that makes them believe they have the right to (directly or indirectly, doesn't matter so long as they can be convinced)

I'm pretty sure that part of their score for these "apocalypse" stories is to not only prevent it, but to achieve a masterful ending that is satisfying to the librarian. Just going and murdering the villainess is not a good story or ending no matter how logical of an action it may be.

It's not fanmade. The top comments/tags that are saying it's dj/fanmade are talking about the first two chapters (0.1 and 0.2) which are obv fanmade(mostly a joke). If u look at the uploaded dates those two chapters were uploaded in 2021 and the rest(from ch1 onwards) 2023, which are the real ones.
I think I've read this before but it's not even halfway cuz my mind tends to drift away from the pages if the storyline bored me so I stopped reading this and when my chrome crashed once, I lost which part I last read orz
