Late as fk and it's been a while since I've read this cause of the hiatus but: I don't think they ever explicitly state that they mean cannibalism and sometimes it feels like they are using "eat" to refer to sex as well. The FL's destiny does seem to imply that the ML will literally eat her though since it leads to her death. Whether its some magical eating, blood sucking, or straight human steak eating, I don't know. However, there is a similar character to the FL whose story says that she got eaten by demons (I think for days). That one is more so implied in the sexual way. Long story short, I think they mean eating both literally and sexually.

My heart ache when the dad distances himself from her because of her outburst without knowing the reason for like a month. I know he annoyed her but I don't like the sad expression from him. He already lost his wife and his daughter treated him like that. I get that this is comedy but it's not good to prolong the fight no matter how much you try to emphasize the cuteness.
