Many don't state this but Sawamura is an actual prodigy if u ask me .Furuya is a monster no doubt ( it's difficult for anyone to just throw 151 kmph pitches like it's nothing ) but Sawamura is also a monster in terms of talent . I actually googled on how long it takes to learn a change up , apparently it takes months , and ejiun does it in a day or even a couple of hours . The guys a demon , I just don't get why it's never mentioned in the manga . No offence against Furuya either I love the guy , if u ask me it the ppl around them that's dumb , like furuya has never looked down on eijun and he considers him as some one who is a better ace ( when he says the team needs someone like eijun to okumura )

Srly a two week break ?! Right now ?!? AHH I get where nori is coming from so whatever decision the coach makes I will support it (probably) . Eijun will probably pitch better than usual I doubt its gonna be focused on furuya this time .
This could probably go in two possible ways :
1) tell nori to rest cuz Seidou is aiming for the nationals and if that's the case then their "summar" will be longer and that he would get more chances to take mound.
2) Let nori play because the coach gets the pride of a player (but in this case going into the future it could send alot of negative waves in the team like the members failing to notice that nori chose to through way his life as a pitcher etc)
Thn again this manga has always been pessimistic so who knows .

I think Kataoka might allow him to warm up as reassurance for Sawamura, but letting him play is highly unlikely. The only time Kataoka has knowingly allowed a player to play when they’re injured is when he found out about Miyuki’s injured ribs mid-game and decided that it would be too detrimental to the game to take him out of the game. But every other player who has been injured, that Kataoka knew of, wasn’t allowed to play - so I don’t think even with Nori’s resolve that Kataoka would let him play.

I think boss will let him “play” but tell him he can’t warm up until later in the 6th inning or something. Tell him that he’ll send Furuya before he sends him so Nori can think he'll but he really won’t. Plus if Sawamura does good then no one will need to sub in unless they go into extra innings which I pray they won’t. I think it all depends on Sawamura and that hurts my heart bc he puts so much pressure on himself as is and if he finds out he’ll be even more worried n stressed. He just needs to be confident and stress/pressure free and he’ll do well. I love that he’s the Ace but I never realized how much of a burden it carried.

So I'll be giving to spolier one on the current situation and another one a different situation (I MTLed it so there maybe some mistakes )
1) This version is a bit different from the novel it is Nora who finds shuli's body by chance and reports it , Jeremy goes crazy and almost strangles O'Hara , everything was planned by the zombie priest who actually likes shuli but doesn't want to accept it ,he thinks she is a witch or devil in disguise who is seducing him ( wether this is an expression or he actually believes this I don't know I haven't read that far )
2) Jeremy and Nora become super close friends to the extent where Nora and Jeremy joke around saying that they should over throw the church and the imperial family so shuli can be empresses
My favourite part is a day before the sword match when Nora asks Jeremy if he likes shuli as women to which Jeremy asks Nora if both of them (shuli and Jeremy) like each other what would he do . Nora replies that he would then be the dog/wolf that guards the lions den but always says that if it was him and shuli instead then the opposite should as work ie the lion guarding the wolf's den . Both of them smile and promise to have a good match tommarow as Jeremy says " if U had been my brother or father my life would have been different " but like I said before its MTL so these words could have been told my Nora to Jeremy
