I am happy with everything so far , yes there were tons of times where I was super pissed off but I liked the realistic factors , but I am disappointed that the series might end with sawamura not having a proper rival . Yes there's Furuya and also Amahisa (I think that's the spelling ) but I wish he had a proper rival like miyuki and mei or furuya and hongou . Now even if he plays against hongous team in the nationals and win it won't feel as satisfying as furuya and hongou going off against eachother , kinda like how we see the showdown btw hinata and hoshiumi.
i think thats because he didnt even get a chance to pitch like an ace.. terjaima keep fck him up, treat him as a side character.. the way his skill are right now is practically similar with narumiya mei in his 2nd year even better.. so imo his all out battle is still with narumiya cuz both are southpaw and have crazy breaking balls... miyuki x narumiya match is more like mind games.. i mean both position is basically different a catcher and pitcher.. its not even on the same ground..
Tbh when this series started I never really saw the isagi's personality as one that's stood out like even now he doesn't have a super quirky trait or anything but then he has these moments where it's like I'm seeing the football version of hinata , that urge for victory and the mind set to achieve that . It's not like he's overly optimistic either he just knows that " if I want to stand on the same stage and hunt these monsters then I have to be a demon " I just love these type of characters
Isagi is really mellow as a character and i kept thinking, is this really the protagonist? Its only when he gets in the zone that you see his presense and charisma dramatically increase. I really dont know how his unique foresight will help him be the top, since it seems other players also have foresight as well and are athletically more capable. The author keeps suprising me, which is great
First of all let's hope it's nothing to serious nori is practically the sweetest guy in this series and I rather not see if seriously hurt , Second I doubt furuya will get a lot of time to shine in this match , I'm pretty sure it's gonna be Sawamura playing in behalf of nori and then later the relief pitchers coming in cux although I wanna see sawamura and Amahisa going head to head , Sawamura will hve to play against the match with Inashiro hence will need rest .
And it's also likely that furuya will also pitch but there's not much we can do about that since they can't continue using eijun back to back .
