I kinda figured. The kind of anger he has doesn't come out of nowhere. While I was lucky to have never reached that level of violence, I also definitely carried a lot of anger from child abuse and lashed out at everyone for years. I was kind of violent myself, flipped people out of their chairs, shoved some people, but luckily it never went beyond unjustifiably slapping someone. And I've mellowed out with age and haven't laid hands on anyone that isn't myself since I reached my 20s.
Jaekyung doesn't need to chase a boxing championship dream right now. He needs intensive cognitive and behavioral therapy.
it's part of my "rehabilitation". As a child, I was led to believe my problems and feelings don't matter, no one wants to know, and no one gives a fuck. So I kept every little piece of myself to myself. One of my past therapists suggested that I not be as guarded and when the chance arises and when appropriate, I do my best to share my experiences because people care and some people can relate.
You know, I've had this thought for awhile. Mice in Asian folklore tend to be very cunning and smart. Sometimes they're ven portrayed as tso-faced tricksters.
For example, the story of the 12 Zodiacs. The reason the mouse is firdt in the cycle is because when they started their pilgrimage to see Buddha, the mouse convinced the Ox to let him ride on his back by aaying how small and weak he is. When they got close to their destination, the mouse quickly jumped off the Ox's back and ran through the finish line, therefore becoming the first animal in the cycle.
Since this story tend to follow some folklore characteristics of animals, I was a little surprised to see the mice characterized as not cunning and actually weak.

I still don't fucking like you, Haruto
