When i Read such comments if always got me thinking why people do not think about why they write these things. In many including my country it is normal for cousins to marry. It was a long custom, The way we look at it now might have changed but there is still the fact that you can marry a cousin. It's tradition or culture in some countries. So before you burn the whole word with your judgmental sentence as incesters i would suggest you take a look at these aspects. broaden your view.
I understand why you'd be frustrated and I'm fully aware it is legal to marry your cousin, but some people aren't used to such topics because they themselves wouldn't engage in it. so before you get mad about the OP not reading it because of incest, they didn't read it because it's OUT of what they know or are used to. Wel that's nice! I think some people tend to post here and don't think how it will look. if allot of people just post the same sentence over and over it become somewhat true if you never have any other comment. Some people probably will never ever comment at all because of how some comment sections look like. It feels somehow wrong to find something enjoyable while everyone is posting that it is wrong. While that is a topic for debate and everyone can have an opinion. But sometimes I miss the middle, it's always the extreme comments you read. That makes it hard to say what you want to say.

I only meant that the way the author portrays indigenous people as “caveman” (like they themselves said in the author excerpt) is not faithful to reality at all. There’s practically no indigenous tribes nowadays that have had no contact with civilisation, and those that haven’t had contact are supposed to be left like that. It’s a good manga, i just wish the Native American rep was a bit less stereotypical.

Do you realize that there are still tribes in latin america and other parts of the world? That there are communities where you can still find people dressing and living similarly to the people of Lutah.

1. Latin America is still America, which means indigenous people from there are still Native Americans (ofc I didn’t mean North American tribes, it’s got nothing to do with that)
2. I just said there are some tribes who live like that, but they’re very rare and are usually considered part of a bigger cultural heritage, which means they’re protected at all costs and specifically not to be messed with. The VAST (and I mean VAST) majority of indigenous tribes are used to these things, and I wished this manga would reflect that instead of perpetuating a stereotype that indigenous people don’t know the “real” or “civilised” world

I don't think it represents the "whole" indigenous tribes though cause in the first place it's a make believe tribe in a make believe island which means both doesn't really exist at all. Basically it wasn't "representing" anything. I'd call it racist if the author picked one existing indigenous tribe and used it for their story but I actually appreciate how they made it from scratch. Plus there are still many tribes out there, we don't know what each and every one of them does exactly - so some (emphasis) stuff here might be true to other different tribes. I didn't really find it that much stereotypical in the first place.
But if you feel like it really does seem like racism, then I won't talk over you. People have different perceptions on these things, just felt the need to answer since you asked/are not sure if it is racist.

It'd be racist if they picked an existing tribe and placed stereotypes over them. But since it was made from scratch (make believe tribe and island) I personally think it isn't racist at all.
Everything that seongho has done so far is pretty despicable, but honestly with the fame that this manhwa built up I was sure it was going to be worse or on the same level as KS. In the last chapters, he’s even started to become more considerate towards nakyum, which is a development I never expected tbh
