I’m sorry y’all but in my opinion I don’t consider the past emperor and the present emperor the same at all... everyone is fighting in the comments. Obviously what the past emperor did was very wrong but he died I think over 100 years prior to where we are currently. Is the current emperor guilty of his crimes too? Personally I don’t think he is, yes he did some current wrongs where we are rn, but he obviously has no recollection of the past at all. It’s like imagining if I was reincarnated typing this right now and I have no recollection of my past nor even know that I am reincarnated, suddenly I get déjà or a flashback, it turns out I killed someone. Would the current me be held accountable and blamed for what the past “me” did while I had no knowledge of it at all the entire time thinking I was a separate being?

Yes you are born like that and it is really hard to deal with because you can't exactly feel affection towards people however you 're capable of feeling attachment or interest more like obsession towards people. It can't really be cured but more like managed by things like therapy and in some cases meds
