my fave scene is in chapter 48. it’s when sasya is lovingly admiring karel who’s sleeping then karel wakes up, smiles, and tells saysa to go back to sleep. reading that heals a bit of my shattered heart </3

the line to reveal the meaning of the title is so good !! not to mention that last panel is actually perfection. beach episodes will always be one of my faves fr ! and i’m not talking about fan service ones, im talking aot, avatar last airbender, etc shit the type that has the beach as the setting accompanied by pure greatness. that last panel could seriously be a lock screen or smth. the simple white top with blue pants, the clear sky with ocean like ohmygosh… they look sooo happy together im touched… im so glad i kept up with this story. ik it got a lot of shit for having so many frustrating misunderstandings, but it was worth it.

i love this line. despite being rooted to the ground by driving a car, leo is soaring. and not only that but this is a completely new height ! i feel like this encompasses what leo feels during peak driving. i’m sure what jj said got his adrenaline going.
also the line is just sm cooler from the art that’s right underneath it. the perspective of having the readers hanging upside down to make it seem like leo is off the ground. not exactly floating but flying to the finish line. without other cars next to him, leo doesn’t even seem like he’s racing others at that point. leo’s dominated the tracks sm so that he’s beyond just the physical of it. he’s not coming toward us because that would mean he’s within the same realm as us but heading straight to where he can see so very clearly the end really adds to his ascension(?). it’s just him, nobody else.
i feel like i have such a strange attachment to this manhwa. it already has a special place in my heart. leo is so lovable and someone you root for, both in racing and character development. the fact that we all can see leo can grow to be a better person makes me excited to see his journey in reaching that destination. that’s why i loved chapter 10. i like jj’s character too, he’s def necessary for leo’s growth. him admitting why he liked leo right before the race was golden and such a perfect moment. and leo blushing ! the entire montage of him racing and winning, running straight to jj, treasuring racing and jj, it was all so so good. i can’t stop using the word perfect because i gotta say that kiss was perfect. the fact that it was a public confession too just added another level to it all. lovely chapter.
