there’s a reason why in the real world there is a justice system set in place. being a vigilante or encouraging such behavior is not all butterflies and sunshine. rebellion is good, but not against democracy practiced in court. and how can we deem one person to be the justice system itself?
kloff was cruel to aeroc. he sought after aeroc, though not all 100% revenge, it’s easier to deny feelings than to face them. because of his actions, kloff suffered in his own hell too after aeroc died.
aeroc is a sinner who acted based on his envy. kloff is a psycho whose humanity is questionable. he is sadistic. the most human thing about kloff is his stubbornness, his absolute refusal to accept his interest toward aeroc and mask it with raphael.
i think if raphael was alive and learned what happened to him by aeroc in the first arc, the former would have mercy on our aeroc. raphael would not want aeroc to be beaten, mentally & physically tortured, abused, raped, impregnated, etc. i think raphael would show some mercy
