There are a lot of people that aren't educated in all the different sexualities. And it's not because they don't care or don't want to know, it because they don't even know all those types are out there. I was once like that until I discovered I was Demisexual. It takes a lot to not only figure yourself out with what knowledge you have but to figure out other people as well.
