Okay I lucid dream and have vivid dreams almost every night and even I can’t just control the location in an instant. I’ve only been able to give myself various powers and have some control of the people in my dreams. But I can only work with what’s already there. I don’t know anyone who can just be told to dream about a place and they just do it.
(I’m getting a sleep study done to figure out if I have sleep apnea or a type of narcolepsy because I have an issue of falling asleep constantly with only some control. But one of the symptoms is vivid/lucid dreams most nights so you never get a restful sleep.)
Every point it escalates so much like wow is this even based in the real world?
well, this IS a story where a kid survived a crash plane and was trained since 9 y/o to be a mercenary, goes back to his family after 10 years, is not severely traumatized and with ptsd, go to school and can interact with people normally even though he grew up on a very hostile environment.
i think is a bit too late to expect some "base in the real word"
it's entertaining enough for everyone to ignore how unrealistic this is. and be honest, almost all comics are extremely unrealistic. espc the manhwas based in korean high schools and revolving around fighting/action.
I mean I guess I was just expecting more highschool but it feels like he might as well have graduated to the world of yakuza, gangs, big money, and ultra mercenaries
Why didn’t they just kill the emperor?
Well if they’re willing to kill each other to succeed the throne I wouldn’t be surprised if they still did it when he’s dead
I’d imagine there’d be some out of the ten who know they had no chance so they’d form alliances.
At least I’d try to make a deal with one or two people that I would help kill the emperor who murdered our mothers in front of us and then let them be emperor and I leave or get into a decent political marriage to help the new emperor gain power.
It’s easier to kill one person more than 9. Also why not massacre everyone if you could do it in one swoop? Talk about a stupidly drawn out process
I mean if we’re talking about one of them killing the emperor that would create an open spot for one of them to take and since they’re already fighting for it while he’s alive so they’ll most likely still fight and kill each other for it when he’s dead is what I was trying to say and plus I doubt are main girl would’ve been able to massacre all of them maybe now that she has that light power but not before
I’m just under the impression not all the kiddos would have cared for the throne more than their lives. I’d imagine the ones who just wanted to live would prefer to just kill their dad and not each other

Jade actually pissed me off here. He knew her dad was going to die and could have easily prevented it but was going to let it happen until he knew she was there. Like come on man.
Same i was actually surprised when it was revealed that he was just in the house. I wondered maybe its just Viche he cares about and no one else? But even then since he's smart he shouldve thought of how it would affect her

I mean if I was her I’d say that the powers are activated from mutual sincere love. All those creeps would try to get her to fall for them but it’s not sincere love so it would never work.

Yeah that’s the terrifying thing. If this was a darker story, she’d have a line of her old men already raping her for the next several weeks while the MC tries to find her. Ugh. The thought is just horrifying.
