It’s not wrong to break up with someone due to sexual incompatibility.
However, the breakup felt so off putting because she’d dated the person for a year. Sure, she listed off several reasons after the fact, but because her main reason was “I saw a huge dick and I want it.” That makes those other reasons insincere and tacked on so she feels less shallow about herself. If she was honest and admitted that she’s only in it for dick because she has a high libido then more power to her. But if that was the case she wouldn’t have stayed with her boyfriend FOR A YEAR. Judging by how quick she moved on her childhood friend, I’m sure it didn’t take long for them to have sex and for her to realize that that dick wasn’t the one.
The complete disregard for ANYONE’s feelings is another thing that sets me off. It’s fine to prioritize your mental health and emotions but this?? note that there was no explanation at the time of the breakup. She just said yeah no. I’d understand if it was a brief relationship but if you’re with someone for a year at that point any human being should have the common decency to talk through a breakup. She completely ignores the feelings of her sex partner and selfishly indulges herself without bothering to consider a single repercussion of her actions and how they affect others. For example, tying up her partner and just leaving them (sure there were extenuating circumstances but she completely forgot about him). Also she told her friends about her sex partner who I assume they know his identity. If you are just sex friends maybe the other person doesn’t want other people to know.
She also lacks tact and emotional sensitivity. Completely dense to the feelings of others because she’s so wrapped up in herself. Ex. Her swimming in general, and how she got mad for being called out for not improving because she was goofing off. She mentioned she broke up with her previous bf in pet because of his “nagging” which makes me doubt that it was really nagging. She just comes off as someone who doesn’t want to take responsibility for her actions ever and it hurts the ones around her e.g the ml who is actually perfect.
Honestly the lack of communication between the two is both of their faults but for once I believe the fault is heavily on her side. After hearing someone basically say “thank god we’re just sex friends, this is so comfortable”, I doubt anyone could follow that up with “actually I like you and want a relationship with you.” She decided their relationship for both of them without ever having a proper sit down conversation about their relationship.
People say she’s “refreshing” and “empowered” but if she wasn’t the main female lead, she’d be the story’s “villainess” stringing along the male lead who’s slowly getting his heart broken. It’s fine to have a female lead who’s imperfect, but as of right now she has little to no redeeming qualities that actually make her a compelling and believable character.
Also sleeping around in a way that hurts your partner(s) doesn’t make you empowered, it just makes you an asshole.
If you want to be a professional dick hunter, do it in a healthy way so that your partners aren’t hurt by your actions. There were a couple of bdsm manhwas where the Dom was female and both times the female Dom was just “an asshole with a whip” not an actual empowered Dom that would be accepted in bdsm society.
Tl;dr bitch be shallow, selfish, and insincere. She irresponsible and lacks emotional maturity which hurts those around her.

Wow this— this went longer than I meant it to. Either way, I’ll keep reading this but it’s definitely low on my list. It’s on the “if I’ve run out of things to do and read I’ll skim through to see what’s up” list. Because let’s face it, the writing is C grade material. It doesn’t even make my B list comics.

It’s great he’s slowly getting his sub used to bdsm but they forgot the most important thing. The safe word!! That is the first thing they should have established to make sure that the sub and Dom won’t do something they weren’t willing to do.
