Here some stuff I would bring/ do for when the world ends and god chooses zombies:
Weapon: if you don’t have guns, knives would be great, stick it into some long sturdy stick so you have reach advantage but keep a small one with you at all times. Survival knives would be good to carry on your travel.
Food: bring only essentials like water or crackers to eat. Protein powder and chocolate are actually good since it will give you energy. Energy bars if you have some. Trail mix or peanut butter. Powdered drinks like swissmiss or milo. Anything lightweight and doesn’t rot easily. If you have water filter bottles great or iodine is ok.
Clothing: wear puffer jackets if you have any because zombies bite so that shields you a bit. Long sleeves and something that will cover your legs would be great. For girls pantyliners would do since they're small. Piece of cloth if that runs out. Ankle length climbing boots, doc martens ankle boots, military ones if you have any. Something that will cover your ankles and has thick soles for kicking. Shove your pants inside the ankle boots.
Transportation: if you can, steal an armored vehicle (ones used by banks) or trucks (delivery trucks or 16 wheeler ones) coz they're big and sturdy you can just run-over some zombies.
Other stuff: if you have one of those hand crank radios or flashlights then great. If none solar powered flashlights. I think isopropyl alcohol would be good to bring too since you can use it to start fires or clean stuff. A small magnifying glass or matches or magnesium blocks for starting a fire. Other important stuff you might have around the house would be be some rope, a medical triangle cloth (they sometimes give some for free at red cross offices) and some tarp (or any waterproof compact item to be used as something to lie on or as a roof). Best to learn how to drive (4 wheeled or 2 wheeled vehicles) and to swim.
