Yea I hope they update and I also think the other three hero’s are so annoying they just get in the way and act all high and mighty and think they are strong when in reality they can’t even beat raftalia
They are mainly meant to be foils representing the most common types of itsukai main characters combined with the most common approaches for becoming "strong" in games. They're basically there to cement that this world doesn't act like other itsukai worlds . There's no cheats or easy way; you just have to sit down and put in honest work (Like Log Horizon).

I must say I agree. He didn't ful the son into a relationship, but before everything he told the truth after the kiss. And I also believe that he see him as a friend but he fell in love deeply with the Dad. It is so but to yearn for something that is next to you for years.
