i LOVE this trope of one person falling first and then their lover who falls harder. like jun fell first, and clearly by season 2, it was yoonseul who fell harder and he loves (obsess) jun.
funny thing, the last time i read something like this was BJ Alex, and these two are starkly different but something I love about both is how the seme who rejected the uke first, they end up falling harder for them when they get together. coincidentally, both Jiwon (BJ Alex) and Yoonseul both fantasised about what if they dated their boyfriend in high school and how it would've fixed their problems.
just something cute to mention. i really do like this webtoon, its sooo sweet
well now that heonjae might be possibly related to Jingi or at least have an actual relationship to him outside of prison explains why they're not fucking. I thought it was bc Heonjae was crazy (which can still be true and hot lmao), but now it's more like they're some of the only people they can both trust.
anyway this doesn't stop me from wanting to sit on heonjae's dick and ride until he can't speak idc
like im so serious bro was mad for the plot bc im telling you that an normal person wouldn't even be mad at the "lies" namhyun was telling him. like at worst, he was lying about being the brother of his boyfriend's first crush. like it isn't even that bad of a lie and if yoochan took like 3 seconds to think, he;d understand why namhyun was hiding it.
like this argument not only didn't feel realistic, but also like didn't warrent his reaction lmfaooo like why he was mad at namhyun so hard it was like bro cheated on him, like what ....
and while everyone is complaining at sihyun and mina didn't stand up for namhyun and while i deeply agree, i do think sihyun being a genuinely nice guy and even comforting namhyun when he isolated himself in his room was really sweet to see.

i love re-reading the second half of this because of how we get Jiwon's perspective. I already wrote my own review but man, I just appreciate the grounded aspects of BJ Alex outside of the sex scenes. Like the different views of coming out between Jiwon, Donggyun, and Chanwoo. They all handle their sexuality differently and its true to real life. Or how Jiwon wears a mask, both literally and metaphorically, masking his whole life and especially his sexuality. How Donggyun was treated when his high school found out he was gay.
BJ Alex has a lot of faults but one thing I will forever praise them for doing is actually connecting this webtoon to being about gay people. Not just hot men who sleep with other hot men and pretend they aren't gay. I'm so tired of yaoi men acting gay but never letting them actually be called gay. Donggyun is explicitly gay and Jiwon is clearly into men romantically and sexually, and mostly implied to be bisexual with a lean to men. And they go so far in the series to talk about coming out. I like that they're not using vague language in this webtoon. It's a mostly grounded webtoon, so it only makes sense that their relationship too is actually grounded in reality.
BJ Alex is my trash and I'm forever a defender trust (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
