I bawled my eyes out over chapter 59-61. Edmund's death. Truthfully, the hardest thing about being an immortal in the mortal world was always having to grieve and survive over the passing of loved ones.
On another note, I was actually skeptical about starting the story since she raised the ML & married him after (fear of grooming). But, she actually very innocently raised the boy, like a friend (because certainly she herself was not a motherly character).

So,dropping the story entirely at chapter 39. Honestly, by ch 30 or so, the story is still just scrambling with introductions of too many characters. I am not really a fan of the FL character and her reverse harem setting (forced romance). Too little development, and all of them had declared love and devotion. I skipped to the finale, and not much is missed. Ayne ended up with Jay. Maria ended up with Duke Reindhart. Zion the werewolf most probably went back to his clan (idk, didn't really see him). I was bored by the arts as well. Facial expressions were really poorly illustrated, and some panels looked recycled / repetitive. Many apologies to the author team, but I just can't get into this.

First of all, there are a LOT of random rambling thoughts.. That's why we managed to get only 1 plot per chapter.. Luckily, I really love Arwin and Latte. Just that, there is too much comedic panels, those were kind of distracting from the main plot.
Ch 1- 30.. Danger zone of dropping as story was heavily centered on Ibelin with Latte being the sidekick. Usually, I'm on the sideline watching some random MC love story. Then, it felt like I'm on the sideline watching another sideline watching MC love story. Kind of frustrating to be perfectly honest.
Ch 30-100.. Slowly focused on Latte only..
Ch 100-130...Got better! Author flipped narrative to be from Arwin's and Ibelin's POVs. Latte finally stopped herself from being a side character only. Love yourself sis. Glad that Arwin fell in love with Latte.
That evil emperor is just sooooo annoying!!! Just die already you old man.. I wish he could have suffered more and longer than just a few panels.
