Hillis is about as expressive as Kristen Stewart in Twilight. Axion (yes, the name of a dishwashing paste) is almost as expressionless. Would be about the most facially tight and dry combo I ever saw.
I mean if you have as much trauma as she have i guess you'd be like that too, not to mention she's been living repeatedly. And for Axion, well he didn't really grow up in a happy and expressive family so there ya go
I read some comments really tearing down this story even before I started reading this. I almost gave up starting to read due to those. Fortunately, I gave this story a chance and I am really glad I did so. I really love the pacing and natural chain of events that unfolded. It did not feel awkward or forced or out of place. I love that both of them seem to fall in love naturally (as opposed to forced romance). The ending with the empress could've been given a bit more pace (as it was unpacked in a single chapter in a storybook setting) but that was just me nitpicking. It is a really well put together story.

This is a super super typical reincarnated as a main character story. Doesn't need to put in much effort in being likable. No villainous route (no revenge etc). Intriguing at first, then fall flat with no real development. Also, getting tired of irrelevant side quests (I get that she got reincarnated in a video game but still...). Not my cup of tea. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
Dropped this at chapter 30 when the FL produced potion to fake pregnancy results to trick ML to marry her. Feels a lot of FL schemes are undermining the honesty of their onward interactions. ☹ Feels a little bit manipulative, I gotta say. Also, art changed in the middle of this story?? Threw me off a bit..
