I reread this a couple times but mostly just for the smut. I completely forgot about the whole Doochi situation until today. It always saddens me when one of the MCs have lingering feelings for someone else but I’m slowly learning to accept the fact that all the people we ever loved leave an imprint on our hearts. We will always be connected to them in some way but that doesn’t mean we won’t ever heal or move on (if we want to). But I do think a part of Hakdo already loves Sangho even if he’s not aware of it himself and yes it’s possible to be in love with 2 people at the same time. I’m just hoping that someday, Sangho will take up more space in Hakdo’s heart than Doochi ever did.

Is it actually possible that Mafuyu isn’t in love with Yuki anymore? For months after binge-reading this, I thought the reason Mafuyu is still sad is bc he’s still in love with Yuki and I know a small part of Mafu always will be. But maybe the real reason is that instead of missing him as a lover, he just misses his best friend and is traumatized by the suicide? Maybe Mafu’s heart really has moved on but just can’t completely forget the same way that we’d never forget our best friend if they died? What do you guys think? Been a while since I binge-read this so I’m not sure of anything anymore lmao.
I totally agree with this. I know for a fact that he's already in love with Ue. As I've told with my recent comment, it's hard to forget someone who you've been together ever since then suddenly that person committed suicide thinking the words you blurted out was the caused of that act. I think he's somehow guilty and scared that the new love he found would be the same as before. It's thanks to Yuki too that ge was able to meet Ue and fall in love.. it's about music that connected all of them.. and Yuki was obsessed with Music. You cannot forget someone as special as that. So it's okay if he still have lingering memories with Yuki. It doesn't matter if it'll take forever to forget coz soulmates can be in any form.. coz Yuki is always a part of Mafuyu that no one can erase. I feel like Mafuyu is rather strong for accepting this new love and rooting for them until the end. In this lifetime, I think Ue will be always be witt Mafuyu.

I feel like their issues are so damn realistic. Her worries about marrying a future company president who is going to be very busy someday and won’t have enough time for family bc literally hundreds of employees will be counting on him. And the part about the relatives always sticking their nose into your business. Also the fact that one day they won’t be as lovey-dovey as they are right now ‘coz their worlds are going to grow bigger from now on and they’ll have more priorities. And the part about discovering and coming to terms with your kinks and fetishes. I feel like their deep affection for each other makes their sex so intense and intimate. There’s no drama, no painful/heavy scenes, it’s literally just a sweet, ordinary love story. The whole becoming overly conscious of someone you never thought about in “that” way when they suddenly tell you about their feelings is so realistic. And every single character is so likable!! They all genuinely cared for each other, there was no judgement awwww
It’s not crystal clear what really went down with those three guys with the drugs and for my peace of mind, I’ve convinced myself that all they did was drug him down there using a condom and nothing more. But I know it’s still considered rape even if it was just with a finger. Also, most of the MCs’ sex scenes involve dubious consent so if you can’t handle that, you might wanna skip this. The setting is definitely on the darker side of slice of life but it’s a romance manga thru and thru. And yes ngl this manga romanticizes dubcon sex and falling in love with one’s extortionist.
