The way she was brought up contributed to how small she was, although they dont mention it often she had quite a terrible upbringing lacking basic needs so it would be surprising if eher growth was stunted for a while

i get where ur trying to come from but i'm agreeing with the rest of the replies. She was 12; that's one year off of having teen as her age title - while he was still in his teens. It's not like his is some 20, 30 year age gap or something. Not like he was her adopted dad or some creepy shot. (And even if it was a huge age gap; can you really stop ppl from developing feels??)
